If you want to equip your freshly leveled to level 60 characters with good epics and/or a fancy mount before the launch of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, you should play a little PvP and get some Alterac Valley Battleground tokens. The items of the corresponding faction are now available without reputation requirements.
As you know, the pre-patch phase of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic only lasts two weeks and many players want to use this short phase to prepare characters for the leveling phase in Outland. One way to do this is to play more PvP and buy the powerful rank 13 and rank 14 items for honor and tokens.
However, the epic weapons and armor are very expensive, and at the same time, since the hotfix on May 20, only a few honor points are awarded per battleground game. Nevertheless: Blizzard promises double honor from all sources for the rest of the pre-patch phase, and there are also other very good epics that you can buy for significantly less honor.
Off to Alterac Valley!
With the pre-patch, Blizzard has also removed the reputation requirements for the items of the various PvP factions and replaced the gold prices with honor and tokens. The Alterac Valley Battleground factions’ offerings are particularly good. But see for yourself:
- Shoulder girdle made of gnoll skin – 1,530 honor and 10 Alterac Valley badges of honor.
- Quiver of Harpy Skin – 1,530 Honor and 10 Alterac Valley Badges of Honor

What is WoW Classic?
World of Warcraft Classic is a true recreation of the original WoW as you know it from 2006. All parts of the game – from combat mechanics and talent trees to character models and zones – have been recreated, contributing to the authentic experience.
