When the WoW expansion The Burning Crusade appeared in Europe in January 2007, there was no stopping MMO fans. Finally new game content, finally new adventures in a wacky and fantastically beautiful new world. Draenor was, and still is, open to the heroes of Azeroth, and they flocked to Hellfire Peninsula, then flocked to Zangarmarsh, Blade’s Edge Mountains, Terokkar, Shadowmoon Valley, and Netherstorm.

Beautiful, strange Outland

After almost two years of experiences in the Eastern Kingdoms and in Kalimdor, The Burning Crusade finally brought a breath of fresh air to the booth, lured with tough challenges in heroic dungeons and mystical raids, with a significantly improved class balance and the opportunity to finally shake hands with Illidan Stormrage shake. Hordlers were finally allowed to play paladins with the arrival of the blood elves, while shamans could now also be found in the ranks of the alliance thanks to the draenei. The first WoW expansion buffed the success of Blizzard Entertainment’s online role-playing game once again, and even today veterans sit in front of the screen with a transfigured grin when they are reminded of The Burning Crusade.

Burning Crusade Classic Beta

At BlizzCononline, the people at Blizzard have now officially announced WoW Burning Crusade Classic, which is scheduled to start sometime in 2021. The beta has been around for a while, and those who have received an invite can relive the classic BC adventure. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

Burning Crusade has the maximum level in WoW at 70 and brings 2 new playable races (Draenei& Blood Elves). In addition, there is a new continent: The Sheol

The Burning Crusade is the first expansion for the successful MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW) from the developer studio Blizzard. The add-on introduces a new continent called Outland. There are also new races. The Blood Elves for the Horde and the Draenei for the Alliance. The classes Paladin and Shaman are now also playable for both factions. Furthermore, the expansion brings an increase in the level limit from 60 to 70 as well as flying mounts.

World of Warcraft (WoW)

The online role-playing game World of Warcraft (WoW) was released in Europe in 2005 and is an MMO with a subscription payment model. In WoW, players can complete tasks with their characters to improve their hero and meet like-minded players. There are thirteen different races to choose from when selecting a character – six of which belong to only one faction each – as well as eleven classes. In World of Warcraft, players have the opportunity to join the Horde or the Alliance, complete missions and quests with their character in the rich world, and adventure with other heroes in instanced areas for five, ten, and even 25 players.
