Fortnite can not be played – when and how long?

When and how long will the downtime last? Many players don’t agree on this, but a leaker thinks that on December 5 at 4pm you’ll be able to take your first steps on the new map. However, keep in mind that this has not been officially confirmed yet.

When are the patch notes coming? Normally, Epic Games releases little to no information about update changes in Battle Royale mode. These are often found by the community itself.

What new content does update 19.00 bring?

What’s new for Battle Royale mode? We can’t be sure about the changes yet, but leaks and dataminers have proven to be a safe source many times in the past. You can probably expect these changes:

New map

The queen of dice turned the entire old map by 180° without any problems. This resulted in a new location for the battle. This new island will most likely be the new map of Fortnite for the 3rd chapter.

Slide mechanic

Hypex, a well-known Fortnite leaker has meant that you will soon be able to slide around with your skin. In the Polish Fortnite trailer from Epic Games, there was a scene that showed a skin that made just such a move.

It seems that Chapter 3 will bring a new way of moving around.

New weapons and items

Furthermore, new weapons and items were also discovered in the trailer like:

• New assault rifle
• New MP
• A mythical crown
• Fold out bags with shield blasters and tents for weapon upgrade

Environmental disasters – tornadoes, lightning and thunderstorms

Among other things, however, the realistic implementation of natural disasters like tornadoes and thunderstorms also impressed in the trailer. These could appear to you randomly in battle.

Unreal Engine 5

Hypex, already opined in advance that the Battle Royale shooter is getting a new engine. In the video leak from the Polish Epic Games site, it was shown that trees are dismantled in detail and, above all, felled.

In the process, they fall over after being knocked down notches, just like in real life. It’s possible that this feature has something to do with the new engine.
