What are Valorant Points? All prices, offers and skins

Valorant Points is the name of the premium currency in the free2play shooter Valorant by Riot Games. We explain what is behind the term, how the prices are and which skins are offered.

Developer Riot Games relies on a Free2Play model for the new multiplayer shooter Valorant . The Californians already announced in March that there would be no loot boxes . But there are still microtransactions and this is where the Valorant Points come into play. What is that? And what can you buy with it?

Valorant Points

  • Valorant Points is the in-game currency in the Free2Play shooter Valorant
  • It can only be purchased for real money
  • 100 Valorant Points correspond to about 1 euro
  • Anyone who buys points as part of the beta will be reimbursed with a 20% bonus for the release
  • Valorant Points can be invested in Radianit Points (RP).

What are Valorant Points?

Anyone who got hold of a key for the Valorant Beta and looked around a bit in the main menu of the tactical shooter should inevitably have come across the entry for Valorant Points . But most of them probably started the game directly or added Valorant friends instead of dealing with the microtransactions.

The item shop was already open in the beta. Fortunately, only cosmetic items are for sale , which have no effect on the Valorant gameplay. This is where Valorant Points come in, which can be purchased for real money.

A rotating selection of weapon skins can be purchased for Valorant Points . Character skins should not exist, at least for the Valorant release in summer 2020 . They would make it more difficult to maintain the successful .

Valorant Points prices

Weapon skins in Valorant come with different prices. First, however, Valorant Points must be purchased for real money. The shop can be accessed via the V symbol in the upper screen bar.

There are six packages of different sizes to choose from:

  • 500 VP: €5.49
  • 1.150 VP: €11.99
  • 2.150 VP: €21.99
  • 4.400 VP: €43.99
  • 5.500 VP: €53.99
  • 10.500 VP: €99.99

As is often the case with in-game currencies, there is a bonus in Valorant if you buy a larger package. If you opt for the largest package of Valorant Points, there is a whopping 1,410 bonus VP on top.

The following payment options are available in the Valorant Shop:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Instant bank transfer
  • Paysafe Card
  • Prepaid Cards

Will the purchases over into the final game?

In short: no. Valorant will get a full progression wipe when it finally launches in Summer 2020. Any purchased skins or unlocked agents will be lost.

After all, all purchases made during the Valorant beta will be refunded with a 20 percent bonus on release. Anyone who buys Valorant Points now will receive an additional 20% in the finished game.

Valorant Weapon Skins: These are already available

Which Valorant weapon skins are actually in the closed beta? That can’t be said in general, because the offer changes regularly. For example, there are new designs for the Vandal or Specter to choose from . The Valorant Prism Skin Bundle is also on everyone’s lips at the moment.

Weapon skins are available individually for your favorite guns, as well as a thematically appropriate overall package if you want to make the entire arsenal shine in new splendor.

Individual skins account for at least 875 VP, but there are also particularly high-quality designs that are significantly more expensive. Skin Collection prices vary based on the number of skins included.

Radianit Points: And what is that again?

In addition to Valorant Points, there is a second in-game currency: the so-called Radianit Points . However, these are unlocked by completing tasks within the game. This includes, for example, unique secondary weapon skins.

If you don’t feel like earning the Valorant Radianit Points (RP) , you can also exchange Valorant Points (VP).

  • 20 RP – 1600 VP
  • 40 RP – 2800 VP
  • 80 RP – 4800 VP

2 – A VISUAL

Overwatch 2 takes the world and gameplay to a new level: the environments are more dynamic, the battles are more comprehensive, improved effects and shadows enrich the atmosphere in the game. You will be immersed in the story of Overwatch in gripping events. All heroes will get a completely new, even more detailed and authentic look in Overwatch 2.

The five best Overwatch skins

As really cool – so you could title the new Overwatch skins. Because Blizzard Entertainment has really put a lot of effort this time and gifted the community with new cosmetics.

The OverwatchEcent Archives is in full swing. And once again, it takes us back to the original Overwatch team that used to fight in the streets of King’s Row against the rebellion started by the Null Sector. We also remember eight years ago when we took control of Blackwatch, a terrorist organization bent on destruction. But besides all the nostalgia, there’s something else that makes this event: the Archives skins. Here comes the top 5 of the best Cosmetics.

5th Place: Zarya’s “Workout.”

Giving us a bit of workout reality is Zarya’s “Workout” skin at #5. At a young age, Zarya identified a lot with athletics and here she shows that she’s a tough woman. But we honestly expected something more from the professional weightlifter. Still, the skin turned out quite nice.

4th Place: Roadhog’s “Militia” Look

Blizzard has done a good job of mixing the scout and military outfits, so Roadhog’s “Militia” skin lands in 4th place. We especially love the patches attached to the dungarees, but this skin isn’t as colorful and fancy as, say, other skins in the ranking. For that, it gets a solid 4th place.

3rd place: Junkrats “King Jamison

Majestic and bold in 3rd place is Junkat’s “King Jamison” skin. After being banished from Junkertown by the queen, he’s back and presents himself as a real eye-catcher that the queen would be jealous of. We were taken with the golden leg, but so much potential was lost with the rather plain shirt. That’s why Junkrat only makes it to number 3.

2nd place: Pharah’s “Aviator” style

Lieutenant Fareeha “Pharah” comes flying in at number two, in a stunning look that should wow anyone. The aviator sunglasses plus jetpack give her a thematically badass appearance that still makes her look cool and beautiful.

1st Place: Ana’s “Sniper” Skin.

Ana breathes new life into us with her “Sniper” skin and is unrivaled our No. 1 spot. During the Omnic crisis in her earlier years, Ana slayed the Omnics in this color stunning outfit. Her red scarf, headset and many other smaller accessories add the finishing touches to the skin that have us excited.

We’re excited to see when and with which skins Blizzard will wow us again. For more info on Overwatch and everything else about the world of and gaming, check out Early Game.
