FIFA Points – the virtual currency that you have to pay for

One of the advantages of FIFA Points is that they carry over from game to game, so you don’t lose them once you switch to the latest FIFA title. For example, the FIFA 20 Points you have purchased will remain even if you decide to play FIFA 21. Of course, only if you haven’t spent everything yet.

What can you do with FIFA Points?

FIFA Points are used for two things only – to buy FUT Packs and to get access to FUT Draft mode . The former is relatively simple – you pay for a FUT pack, you get a FUT pack, that’s it. When it comes to accessing FUT Draft mode, you have the choice of either paying the entry fee with FIFA Points or with FIFA Coins.

So the function of the points is pretty simple, you buy them, you have two options to spend them and that’s it.

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently.
