Sticky grenade

The sticky grenade is a grenade in Fortnite that has been available for both the Battle Royale mode and the game’s Save the World campaign since patch V.3.6. They can be found as loot on the ground, in Supply Drops, in Supply Llamas , and in Treasure Chests. The grenade can be thrown at enemies and will stick to them before detonating after a 2.5 second delay.

In Battle Royale mode, it can also damage buildings and also detonate prematurely if the building it is attached to is destroyed before time runs out. On the other hand, in “Save the World” it does not damage buildings constructed by players and can also be found as loot; however, it disappears from the inventory at the end of a mission.

How does Fortnite work?

Opponents are not shown on the overview map after landing on the island. The player must therefore always be on the lookout for attacks. To survive, raw materials and equipment must be collected. Building materials such as wood or stone are obtained with a pickaxe. With the help of these raw materials, protective walls and entire forts can be built to protect against enemy attacks. Players can also overcome cliffs or other obstacles by building stairs and bridges themselves. Weapons and health kits are hidden in crates and piñatas. Good equipment increases the chances of surviving against an opponent. Searching, hiding and building are important parts of the game.
