Shadow Bomb

The Shadow Bomb is a Throwable in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in – Season 8. That makes the user partially invisible for 6 seconds.

Functionality

When used, the user will turn into a “shadow”, emitting hard-to-see black particles, slightly revealing the user’s location. The Shadow Bomb is useful for rotating when low. The user, while in the “Shadow Bomb state”, cannot interact with items, edit or place builds, or shoot a weapon or harvesting tool. When 6 seconds is over, there is a small delay before being able to do anything. A user can also press the jump button twice when beside walls, letting them essentially “climb walls”. This increases the durability of the Shadow Bomb, and lets the user climb cliffs, walls that are stacked, and natural structures.

Strategy

When under the Effects, you can double jump and wall climb, which is very useful when sneaking up on enemies and moving around
As it makes the user almost invisible, the Shadow Bomb is great for rotating, especially when low.
It is also great for sneaking up on other players.
The Shadow Bomb is also fairly easy to find in chests, meaning you can have lots of them, and it is a good item to carry.

How does Fortnite work?

“Fortnite: Battle Royale” comes in a variety of game modes. Players can either compete alone, in pairs or in teams of four. The teams are formed either from known players or randomly from strangers. Team members can exchange information and discuss strategies via voice chat.

The gameplay is the same for all modes: At the beginning, all online players are in a virtual waiting room until they are randomly assigned to a game. A round starts with 100 opponents landing on a deserted island. The goal is to beat the other players and to be the last to survive – if you play as a team, you all win together. Opponents are not shown on the overview map after landing on the island. The player must therefore always be on the lookout for attacks. To survive, raw materials and equipment must be collected. Building materials such as wood or stone are obtained with a pickaxe. With the help of these raw materials, protective walls and entire forts can be built to protect against enemy attacks. Players can also overcome cliffs or other obstacles by building stairs and bridges themselves. Weapons and health kits are hidden in crates and piñatas. Good equipment increases the chances of surviving against an opponent. Searching, hiding and building are important parts of the game.
