Weapons Fortnite – Automatic Sniper Rifle

Automatic Sniper Rifle

Automatic Sniper Rifle was a sniper rifle that is available in Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary variants. It uses Medium Bullets as ammunition instead of the usual Heavy Bullets. This sniper is fully automatic, has a x2.0 headshot multiplier instead of normal x2.5, holds a magazine of 16 bullets and the projectiles it fires are faster than any sniper. The Automatic Sniper Rifle has been vaulted in Patch 11.0 in order to free up space. It was also vaulted due to not many people using it in game.

The Automatic Sniper Rifle has been brought back in the Fog of Wars LTM, it was probably unintended.

The, before unused, Uncommon variant of the Automatic Sniper Rifle was introduced with Patch 15.40, but it is currently only available in the Unvaulted LTM.

Trivia

  • This is the first sniper rifle that uses Medium Bullets as ammunition.
  • The Automatic Sniper Rifle is inspired by the VSS Vintorez Sniper Rifle, due to the similar stock, scope, and overall design of the weapon.
  • The reload animation for this sniper is the same animation as the Heavy Sniper Rifle.
  • This is not the first automatic Sniper as the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was automatic, however, it technically just fired out a bullet when the trigger was held.
  • The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle and Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle could be considered better than this weapon because it has more damage and headshot multiplier, does not consume a lot of ammo, and pretty basic and common to find. It also reloads faster than the Automatic Sniper Rifle.
  • This is arguably the worst sniper in the game due to the long reload, reduced zoom, and the low damage.
Unlike other snipers though, the point is to continuesly shoot. It still takes 0.75 seconds to kill someone.

How does Fortnite work?

“Fortnite: ” comes in a variety of game modes. Players can either compete alone, in pairs or in teams of four. The teams are formed either from known players or randomly from strangers. Team members can exchange information and discuss strategies via voice chat.

The gameplay is the same for all modes: At the beginning, all online players are in a virtual waiting room until they are randomly assigned to a game. A round starts with 100 opponents landing on a deserted island. The goal is to beat the other players and to be the last to survive – if you play as a team, you all win together. Opponents are not shown on the overview map after landing on the island. The player must therefore always be on the lookout for attacks. To survive, raw materials and equipment must be collected. Building materials such as wood or stone are obtained with a pickaxe. With the help of these raw materials, protective walls and entire forts can be built to protect against enemy attacks. Players can also overcome cliffs or other obstacles by building stairs and bridges themselves. Weapons and health kits are hidden in crates and piñatas. Good equipment increases the chances of surviving against an opponent. Searching, hiding and building are important parts of the game.
