Weapons Call of Duty-SMR

The SMR is a semi-automatic assault rifle from : Black Ops II. Without attachments, it has the highest damage per bullet of all the in the game. Since the SMR is semi-automatic, it can best be compared to the FAL OSW.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Multiplayer

The SMR deals pretty high damage and is capable of taking down an enemy in two shots, even from a long range or through low cover, in hardcore game modes you need exactly one hit. Compared to the FAL OSW, the range to kill in two hits is much higher with the SMR because at long range you only need two hits, while with the FAL you already need three hits. There are drawbacks, however. The SMR has five less bullets in the magazine, higher recoil, the fire limit is set lower and you reload slower than with the FAL.

Thanks to the huge damage and long range, you can equip the SMR with a silencer without much concern. Rear and front sights are clear, but an ACOG sight or hybrid sight can help you shoot more accurately from further away.

With the fire mode, you can even use the SMR fully automatic. However, this lowers the rate of fire and increases recoil, hindering accuracy.

Survival combat

The SMR can be obtained in Survival Battle for 950 points at the mystery crate. It is semi-automatic and has 20 bullets in the magazine with 140 rounds in reserve. It is significantly weaker than its multiplayer doppelganger. After the latest patch, the scattering of bullets when you go into the sights has been significantly reduced.

When you punch the SMR, the new name is “SM1L3R”. It has 30 rounds in the magazine with 420 bullets in reserve and does higher damage, plus it is the to have a hybrid sight. It’s still semi-auto and weak, but makes up for it with lots of ammo. By round 19, you need three headshots to kill a zombie, so precise consecutive hits become important.

Info

  • When you punch the gun, the crosshairs are always smiling smiley faces, hence the name “SMILER”.
  • In the campaign, the SMR is fully automatic by default, unlike in multiplayer and survival combat.
  • The logo “SMI” can be seen when you reload.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
