Weapons Call of Duty-RPK

The RPK is a light machine gun from : Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Campaign

You can find the RPK in the missions Operation 40, SOG, The Defector, Victor Charlie, Payday, Rebirth and Redemption. It is quite accurate and does high damage, in the uncensored version it can also sever body parts. You can find it with an ACOG sight, drum magazine, infrared sight or double magazine.

Multiplayer

In multiplayer, the RPK is unlocked at level 6 and has good stats overall. The damage doesn’t drop off at range, so you need 3 hits from any distance or two headshots. The biggest drawback of the RPK is the high knockback. To combat this, people who want to use the RPK need to shoot in volleys or semi-automatic unless the enemy is right in front of you.

A good choice is the magazine extension because you burn through the 40-round magazine relatively quickly, plus reloading takes a long time. With the magazine extension, you get a drum magazine of 80 rounds that reloads as fast as a normal magazine. Unlike other guns, you don’t get extra ammo at the beginning with the magazine extension. Therefore, it is better to choose this attachment than the double magazine. This allows you to reload faster after 40 shots, but the magazine extension ensures that you don’t even have to reload after 40 shots. Although the RPK is a light machine gun, it also has strengths in close combat, as its hip-fire accuracy is good for its class and its rate of fire is also high.

The usual collection of sights is also present. The red dot sight and reflex sight provide no difference other than the sight itself, while the ACOG sight and infrared sight push recoil to the very extreme and are therefore not recommended. Additionally, the RPK’s standard rear sight is open and clear, so you can save an attachment like that.

Overall, the RPK is comparable to the HK21. Both have the same damage and rate of fire, while the HK21 has a smaller magazine and less recoil.

With the magazine extension, the RPK can already be compared to the M60, as it becomes a weapon that can give stable continuous fire. While the M60 has less recoil, especially with a grip, even higher damage at close range, the RPK has greater accuracy from the hip and reloads faster.

Survival Combat
The RPK can only be found at the mystery box and it has 100 rounds in the magazine with 400 rounds in reserve. It is comparable to the HK21, but has a higher rate of fire and does less damage in return. The recoil is extremely low compared to the multiplayer version.

Speed Cola is a must if you want to keep this gun, because it reloads really slowly. Juggernog is also an effective backer if you are trapped in a corner while reloading. If you can control the gun, you should buy double-fire malt beer, which also increases the recoil, so it’s better to shoot in volleys. Thanks to the low mobility, you should think about stamin-up.

The name of the punched version is “R115 Resonator”. The magazine capacity is increased to 125/500 and the weapon becomes much more powerful. Of course, this is a class improvement, even if the HK21 is still a bit more effective. To escape quickly, if ever necessary, you should always have a light secondary weapon.

Info

  • When you put camo on the RPK, the grip doesn’t change a bit unless you choose gold, in which case it turns black.
  • Although the RPK uses a magazine, empty cases and cartridge clips come out of the gun when firing, just like the M60.
  • In the Wii version, the grip is black and not wooden as usual.
  • The RPK is Robert Englund’s favorite weapon.
  • In some cases, the Black Ops solution booklet confuses the RPK with the RPG-7.
  • The name of the punched version is a reference to Element 115.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
