Campagne

In the campaign of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the RPD is used from time to time by the Ultranationalists, Loyalists and the OpFor. It can also be found in the Demoralization and Hideout missions with a red dot sight.

Multiplayer

In the multiplayer, the RPD can be used from level 4 and can be equipped with the attachments red dot sight, ACOG sight and a grip. It is primarily used for medium and long range combat. It is mainly known for its high magazine size and high penetrating power. It has an extremely low recoil which is hardly noticeable when using a grip. It has an average rate of fire of 700 rounds per minute and takes just two shots to kill an enemy. All these advantages make the RPD an almost unbeatable weapon, if not the best in the whole game. It is possible to destroy a helicopter with it with only one magazine. The disadvantages of the RPD are that it has the longest reload time and that you travel a bit slower than with an assault rifle, for example. However, these disadvantages are rather insignificant, since you can still reload this weapon very quickly with the extra “dexterity”, for example. It is also claimed by many players that it is even so strong that it is unfair to use it.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
