Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Multiplayer

The Remington 870 MCS is the shotgun you unlock, namely at level 4. It has the longest range and highest damage of all the shotguns and can get bullet kills even at medium range if you go insights. Its reload time is relatively short, but it still has one of the lowest fire rates in the game. In this regard, it is still undercut by the KSG by a long way.

The long barrel is an excellent attachment because it pushes the already long-range into the realm that is actually impossible for a shotgun. The fast magazine corrects the average load time somewhat, but if you reload between your shots, it’s really unnecessary. None of the optical attachments offer any noticeable advantage, except perhaps that you have more zoom than with a rear sight, however, shotguns are meant for fighting in tight spaces where you don’t need that zoom at all, sometimes it can even hinder you. The laser marker helps in close quarters because you are more likely to take out an enemy by hip fire. Even the silencer is a reasonably good choice, as it doesn’t rob the of such a large amount of damage.

Survival Combat

In TranZit, the Remington is available for 1500 points on the wall of the barn. It can also be purchased on the wall outside the building on the Bus Depot map, next to an elevator on the lowest floor on Die Rise, and in the living room on Nuketown Zombies. Its performance is about the same as the M1897 Trenchgun and the Stakeout. Unlike in multiplayer, it doesn’t have eight cartridges, but merely six. The Remington isn’t as powerful as its two predecessors were, and by round 6 you’ll increasingly need two shots to kill. Double-fire malt beer is therefore unavoidable in later rounds because you can fire two shots at once because unlike its predecessor, it doesn’t just increase the rate of fire. After you punch it the first time for 5000 points, you can punch it several more times for 2000 points to go through the essays. The punched version is much more powerful and zombies explode in a red cloud when they die. In Mob of the Dead, there was a small change. You can buy the Remington in several places on the map and it now only costs 1200 points.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
