Weapons Call of Duty-PDW-57

The PDW-57 is a submachine gun from : Black Ops II.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Multiplayer

The PDW-57 has a huge magazine of 50 rounds and is fully automatic. It is unlocked with level 4. The time it takes to kill is the lowest in its class, because in close combat it only takes three bullets (headshot multiplier included), which puts it on par with the MSMC. Still, many people prefer the MSMC because of its low recoil and faster reload animation. Since the PDW-57 has an incredible magazine, is really powerful and unlocks early, it is very popular in multiplayer, which is confirmed by the number of users of the weapon.

Since the damage is quite high, the PDW-57 has a slower rate of fire than most other submachine guns in the game. This makes it strong in close combat, but mistakes are hardly forgiven, since every bullet that misses significantly increases the enemy’s lifetime. Submachine guns like the MP7 or Vector K10 are therefore clearly better suited for inexperienced players. Due to the gigantic rate of fire, it doesn’t matter that they cause less damage.

The March 12, 2013 patch increased the PDW-57’s hip fire dispersion and recoil, the same program that was performed on the MSMC.

Survival Combat

The PDW-57 appears in Die Rise as a wall-mounted weapon (next to the elevator shaft) and in Buried (in one of the six given weapon locations in the gun store). In Mob of the Dead and Origins, it is available at the mystery crate. On the wall, it costs 1000 points. Although it has a large magazine and does a lot of damage, it runs out of ammo quickly. Speed Cola can speed up the reload speed, while Electric Cherry can be used to protect yourself for a short time during this process. Double Fire Malt Beer increases damage, but you also have to keep in mind that it makes you lose ammo faster and increases recoil.

When you the PDW-57, its new name is “Predicted Death Wish 57000.” It has a magazine of 50 bullets and 350 in reserve and can be punched several times to get different attachments, for example, the reflex sight, the millimeter scanner or the target finder. Still, it loses its ammo quickly. In Buried and Die Rise you can overlook this because improved ammo can be bought on the wall, but in Mob of the Dead and Origins you don’t have a chance to reliably replenish your ammo, creating a big obstacle.

Info

  • The PDW-57 makes the same reloading sounds as the Commando from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • It has the same magazine as the P90.
  • The serial number is “20032012”. This is a reference to the year 2003, when the first Call of Duty title was released, and 2012, the release year of Black Ops II.
  • Since the PDW-57 has a grip from the beginning, nothing changes in the weapon model if you choose the foregrip as an attachment, you still get the effect of the attachment.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
