Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Multiplayer

The M8A1 is the eighth assault rifle you unlock, namely at level 49. It fires volleys of four bullets and the recoil is relatively low. These volleys make it dangerous at any distance, but it works best at a medium range. The M8A1 can kill at close range with three bullets, but from further distances, it can take up to 5 hits before the enemy goes down.

Rear and front sights are quite clear and can be easily used by experienced players, but if you want to tickle the ultimate range out of the weapon, you can use an optical sight like the reflex sight or the rangefinder.

The fire mode allows you to easily turn the M8A1 into a fully automatic assault rifle. Thanks to its high rate of fire and good damage, it is quite deadly at close range, while at further distances you can switch back to volley mode for more precision.

Survival combat

The M8A1 is available in every map for 950 points at the mystery box. Just like in multiplayer, it retains its 4-shot salvos. Double-fire maltbier can be purchased because the salvos are quite weak after all, and it can be difficult to kill a zombie quickly. In the right hands, you can make a decent pile of points with it and you can dispatch whole hordes with it. Punched, you get an automatic aim point to the head and still fire volleys of four shots, but they kill zombies instantly with ease until round 24, even without double-fire malt beer. Thanks to all the ammo, it’s one of the better for punching. What’s also important is that hip-fire accuracy is increased quite a bit, which naturally increases effectiveness in close combat. For 2000 points, you can punch the M8A1 several times, which gives you various attachments. Among them are the reflex sight, the rangefinder, the millimeter scanner, the grenade launcher and the EOTech sight.

  • The M8A1 originally had a much more noticeable recoil, which you could see in the multiplayer trailer, in survival combat this remained unchanged.
  • In the first-person view, you seem to run extremely slowly with the M8A1, even though the weapon is quite light.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
