Weapons Call of Duty-HS-10

The HS-10 is a semi-automatic bullpup shotgun from of Black Ops.

Multiplayer

The HS-10 is the secret weapon in the shotgun category, so it can be unlocked at any time after reaching level 24. It costs 2000.

The magazine of the HS-10 doesn’t hold much with four shots, which means you have to reload often, together with the range being limited to medium distance, nimbleness is a good choice. Taking an HS-10 in both hands right away makes the crosshairs larger, but Calm Hand is still recommended because it reduces the spread of the shotgun, increasing the chance of a fatal hit. Using Calm Hand without two shotguns significantly increases the chance of a one-hit kill. Since the gun is only equipped with 12 rounds in reserve, it’s a good idea to use Scavenger to replenish the spent ammo, Lightweight also works to get to enemies faster and gun them down. Whether you really take Calm Hand instead of Nimble is a matter of personal preference, as spraying can sometimes be an advantage.

The HS-10 behaves similarly to the SPAS-12 overall, but it is quicker on target, can fire faster, and reloads a bit faster, especially if you use it akimbo. However, the SPAS-12 has eight rounds in the magazine, twice as many as the HS-10, and has a very useful attachment silencer.

Akimbo the player reloads the 4 shots in the magazine at the same time, which is very fast and thus makes the use of nimbleness useless.

Survival combat

The HS-10 can be drawn on the mystery box in survival combat. It is good in the medium range, has six rounds in the magazine, and does medium good damage. Upgrade the weapon and it becomes Typhoid & Mary, which makes it two-handed and gives it two extra shots, which means 16 shots total. Additionally, you reload the whole weapon at once instead of the bullet by bullet. Of course, the precision drops significantly for this, compared to the single shotgun. Ammunition also runs low very quickly. If the player is ever in a tight situation, he will be happy to be able to shoot with two shotguns.

Info

  • When you place a clan tag on the HS-10, it appears on the handle of the weapon. On the double-handed HS-10, it appears on the side of the right gun and on the grip of the left.
  • The HS-10 is the first and only shotgun in Black Ops to have the two-handed option.
  • The HS-10 is the only shotgun in Black Ops where the bullets don’t turn gold when you put gold camo on it.
  • The name of the upgraded HS-10, “Typhoid & Mary,” is a reference to Mary Mallon, who was known as Typhoid Mary in England.
  • When upgraded in zombie mode, the linky weapon, Typhoid, makes the normal sounds of an HS-10, while Mary, the right-hand weapon, makes the sound of a laser.
  • On Map Five, there is an unusable HS-10 that sits on a shelf just below the unusable Deathbringer.

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
