Call of Duty: Black Ops

Campaign

The Galil can only be found in the last missions of the campaign like Payday and Redemption.

They are available with attachments such as the magazine extension and the red dot sight. It is mainly used by the Spetsnaz.

Multiplayer

You unlock the Galil at level 20 and it costs 2000 CoD Points. The weapon is capable of killing with three to four shots to the body and two to three shots to the head, while having a pleasant rate of fire. It has little recoil and an extremely large magazine with 35 rounds. Still, it reloads the slowest in its class.

Nimbleness is a good choice, because the weapon reloads really slowly. A double magazine provides the gun with over 200 rounds at the start of the game while a magazine extension gives you 50 rounds in one magazine, almost as much as a light machine gun. It’s worth noting that the Galil benefits more from these two attachments than other assault rifles.

Thanks to the Galil’s large magazine, high damage and controllable recoil, you can also equip the weapon with a silencer. Thanks to a true open sight, you don’t need any optical enhancements either. The recoil of the weapon kicks upwards to the right and can be easily controlled even with continuous fire. At long range, you should still fire the Galil in bursts to allow the recoil to recover between shots.

If you use a magazine extension with Steeled, you effectively have the Galil as a light machine gun with the mobility of an assault rifle. Warlord is also a good choice, because then you can add a silencer or optical enhancement to this attachment. Aborting while reloading is recommended with the Galil, even with a completely empty magazine.

Survival

You can get the Galil for 950 points at the mystery box. It has 35+315 rounds, making it a weapon worth keeping. In addition to the gigantic ammo gauge, the weapon is also stronger than most and lasts easily until round 19, and mostly after that if you aim for the heads. Because of the ample ammo, strength, and low recoil, the Galil is a weapon that most players will keep to . As with the other assault rifles in Survival, you move slower with the Galil, but it’s still faster than a light machine gun and can easily rival them.

When you punch the Galil, it becomes a “lament” with a red dot sight and a random red dot. It is perfect for firing from the hip, as it is very accurate at that. Furthermore, it gives you more ammo than any other assault rifle from the Punch machine. Since the magazine size doesn’t change, Speed Cola is a good choice. The Lament is one of the most sought-after from Survival and does the second most damage of any weapon that isn’t a wonder weapon. In terms of ammo, it outperforms even the punched RPK.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Campaign

The Galil is one of the weapons that the player can use in the section of the campaign that is set in the 1980s.

In the Time and Destiny mission, it is the recommended starter weapon, along with a fast magazine.

Survival fight

The Galil reappears in Survival Battle and can be pulled from the mysterious box. The punched version is once again called Lament. Both punched and unpunched, it behaves like the previous version. One big difference from the other weapons in Black Ops II is that the Lament gets a Black Ops-style red dot sight, although there are actually only reflex sights.

Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified

The Galil reappears in this game and is one to one like the Galil from Black Ops.

Info

  • On the side of the gun, a misspelling has crept in the word “Israel”; “Isreal”.
  • Although the Galil has some Russian variants (as on the RPK and AK-47, the grenade launcher and ACOG sight were adopted), but the red dot sight is American.
  • The serial number of the Galil is 2235789.
  • With the magazine extension, the Galil has the largest magazine of any assault rifle.
  • The multiplayer description of the Galil is incorrect. When you buy it, it tells you that you can choose to fire full-auto or in three-shot bursts. However, when you fire in the game, it is always full-auto.
  • The Galil is the second weapon in the Call of Duty series to use the Russian grenade launcher, the first being the AK-47.
  • On the Wii, the Lament is green, just like the punched HK21.
  • When switching weapons, the player’s hand slides through the barrel.
  • The Galil is one of the two weapons where the camo appears on the magazine, the other being the PSG-1. This does not apply to gold. However, there is a difference, while the Galil has the entire magazine with the camouflage, the PSG-1 only has a strip with the camouflage on the magazine.
  • The Galil in Black Ops II reloads similarly to the AK-47 in Black Ops.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
