Weapons Call of Duty-FHJ-18 AA

The FHJ-18 AA is a target-seeking missile launcher from : Black Ops II and the successor to the Stinger and Strela-3.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Campaign

At the beginning of the Achilles Shroud mission, DeFalco or a mercenary shoots down a VTOL unit. Later in the same mission, Raul Menendez uses it to take down the VTOL that Mike Harper is in.

Multiplayer

The FHJ-18 AA is available from level 4 and you can unlock it with an unlock token, but it is also part of a standard class. The sole purpose of the weapon is to destroy enemy launch series by targeting it (the short beep means it is looking for the target, the long beep means it has found it), after which the weapon can be fired. The missile automatically searches for the target. Some launch series have defensive missiles through which it takes more than one missile to shoot them down. Enemy launch series are illuminated by blue circles when targeting. If the circles turn red, the missile has acquired the target and is ready to take off.

It’s best to use the FHJ-18 AA in a class designed to take the fun out of launching a series for enemies, such as the Cold-Blooded extra.

Info

  • Before patch 1.03, you had to kill people with the weapon to unlock camouflages. However, since this is technically almost impossible because it is solely aimed at shooting down flying objects, this fact has been changed.
  • The launcher’s sight highlights the target when it detects the object in the air. So practically all you have to do is scan the sky, and the rest will take care of itself.
  • If you get hit by an EMP, the sight is blank, but the weapon still works.
  • The icon to pick up in the campaign for the FHJ-18 AA is that of the Strela-3 from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • On the barrel of the launcher is something written in Chinese characters.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
