The Executioner appears as Raul Menendez’s favorite weapon. You can unlock it for your class editor before each mission by completing five challenges in Celerium. At the start of the Achilles Shroud mission, Menendez fires his Executioner at a couple of quadrotors as he makes his way to the Citadel. Once you get there and try to shoot Menendez, he holds Farid by the arm, shoots him in, educates him about loyalty and superiors, and then finally shoots him. In Ulysses, Menendez holds Captain Briggs hostage with the Executioner.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Multiplayer
The Executioner is the fourth weapon in the Pistol category and is unlocked at level 31. It really does a lot of damage, but its accuracy and range are below par. The weapon reloads cartridge by cartridge, like the Python from Call of Duty: Black Ops, which means it takes a bit to reload when it’s completely empty. This makes the Fast Magazine attachment super important because it gives you a fast loader and reloads all the cartridges at once. The long barrel has only a small impact on the range of the weapon but is still recommended to unlock more attachments for the Executioner because it adds a total of 16% to the range. The silencer is the worst choice; controversially, it reduces the already low range. Being Double-handed has several effects. You get twice as much ammo and a fast magazine, but accuracy is lowered and damage per shot goes down. This makes the attachment a savior in some situations and an executioner in others.
If you are using a weapon that is more designed for longer distances, such as an assault rifle, light machine gun, or sniper rifle, then the Executioner is probably a good choice for close-quarters combat. Even if you use primary weapons that are designed more for close combat, the Executioner is not a waste because if you run out of ammo, you have instant support. However, relying only on the Executioner is quite a cruel idea, because it is not suitable as a primary weapon due to the disadvantages mentioned above.
In Hardcore game modes, the Executioner is a weapon that kills with two hits at its maximum range. With the long barrel, one-shot hits are more common, but not guaranteed. Thanks to its short range and only average damage, the Executioner is not used frequently there because other pistols outperform it statistically and practically.
The Executioner is the third weapon in the gun game where you can get it with a laser marker. Since the January 26, 2013 patch, the Executioner has been made a bit stronger, meaning its dangerous range has been increased from 10 to 15. Now it barely takes four hits from the medium range to kill someone, making the weapon more effective.
Survival Combat
The Executioner is available at the mystery box for 950 points. It has high damage from the start and can take down zombies with one shot until round 15, depending on how far away you are from them. You also get it out quickly and put it away quickly, since it’s a secondary weapon, so it’s a good effect when things get dicey in close combat. The biggest drawbacks, however, are the small cylinder magazine of only 5 rounds and the short-range coupled with a long reload time. While the Executioner is without question one of the best melee weapons on the mystery box, because it basically functions like a shotgun, it does almost no damage beyond a certain range. Speed Cola increases the reload speed, saving your life in some situations. Double fire malt beer is also strong support because it increases the number of rounds fired and thus the damage. Compared to the Python, the Executioner is much stronger under the right conditions but has a smaller magazine and much less range.
If you improve it with the Pack-a-Punch machine, the new name is “Voice of Justice”. It gets more spare ammo, damage, and range, potentially allowing you to one-shot zombies up to round 35, as long as you’re in close combat. For 2000 points, you can punch the gun several times to get new attachments, including the long barrel and full metal jacket bullets.
Info
- The Executioner is the first weapon that isn’t a shotgun but uses its ammunition since Call of Duty came into existence.
- It is the first revolver since the beginning for which a silencer is available.
- It is one of two weapons in the game where the Long Barrel attachment actually lengthens the barrel, the other being the Olympia. The longer barrel can be identified by the air holes in the barrel, the normal barrel has two holes, and the longer barrel has three.
- The name of the gun at the start of production was still “Raging Judge”.
- There is a visible fingerprint on the barrel.
- If you reload in the campaign, you can read the words “ANGER MANAGEMENT” on the cartridges.
- The Executioner with laser marker has the lowest dispersion of any weapon in Call of Duty.
- Originally, the Executioner had a long barrel engraved with its own name from the beginning. This was changed for the final version.
- The Executioner is the favorite weapon of Samuel Stuhlinger and Finn O’Leary.
- In terms of maximum damage, it is the most powerful pistol of all the Call of Duty’s, capable of eliminating a Dragonfire with one shot and an A.G.R. with two.
- When you reload, the character always takes all the cartridges out of the cylinder. Afterward, however, he only puts as many back in as were previously fired. This means that if you reload a magazine that is not completely empty, logically some cartridges would be missing.
- If you use the tactical knife and the complete ammunition is empty, then the knife you are holding in your left hand also disappears. If you continue to sight in the empty revolver, the rear sight and front sight are quite warped.
- “Made in Brazil” and “ZOM 1919” can be read above the trigger of the gun.
- As with all guns (except the AN-94), the fire sound was changed again shortly before release. Originally, the Executioner sounded like the Python from Call of Duty: Black Ops, as you can see in the multiplayer trailer.
- The Executioner is available in the mystery box on all survival maps, except in Origins.
- When you attach a cloak to the Executioner (aside from Diamond Cloak), everything is always covered by it except the cylinder.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
