Call of Duty: Warzone” is definitely not known as an eSports discipline, but no first-person shooter can do without competitive aspects. In order to present these on a big stage, Activision 2021 has for the first time announced the World Series of Warzone was launched, in which the best players of the Battle Royale title battled it out. The last edition of this competition before the release of “Warzone 2” will come to an end on September 6, 2022: In the finals, 40 teams of three will compete for the largest share of the approximately 300,000 euros in prize money.
World Series of Warzone 2022: Rules
How does a World Series of Warzone competition actually work? It’s pretty simple: all 40 teams jump onto Caldera in five Battle Royale games and compete for points there.
Each launch earns one point, and each trio’s final placement serves as a multiplier of that score. First place doubles the yield from the corresponding match, and ranks 2 through 15 provide 1.5 times the score. From the 16th place there is no bonus.
Whoever is at the top of the ranking at the end of the five games is the winner.
Following the team competition, there is a solo competition in which players compete as individuals. Whoever wins this match pockets 100,000 euros – the prize pool is not divided among all participants here, but the winner takes it all.

The World Series of Warzone Finals 2022 for the European region will take place on September 6, 2022 from 6 pm takes place.
