After the German FIFA esports players were able to train with FIFA 21 for around a month, the new competitive – Season will start in a few days. The German Football League (DFL) has now published the game plan for the VBL Club Championship, which starts on November 10th.

The VBL Club Championship 2020/2021 , expanded to 26 teams, starts the FIFA 21 – Season on November 10 with the Revierderby between VFL Bochum and Schalke 04 . Defending champions Werder Bremen meet the FC St. Pauli team at the start.

Two divisions for the VBL Club Championship

26 teams from the first and second Bundesliga will compete in the VBL Club Championship 2020/2021 from November 10th. Due to the increase in the number of participants, the teams will compete in two divisions this time :

North-West with defending champions Werder Bremen, Schalke 04 or VFL Wolfsburg and South-East with Hertha BSC, whose player Elias Nerlich we recently interviewed , RB Leipzig and 1. FC Nürnberg.

The two best teams in the divisions move directly into the newly designed final round, places 3 to 6 can secure their final ticket via a KO game. In the regular – Season  , games are played on Tuesdays for the north-west division and on Wednesdays for the teams from the south-east.

It starts on November 10 with the game between FC Schalke 04 and VfL Bochum at 4:30 p.m., all other games start at 6:00 p.m. FC Augsburg and Würzburger Kickers open the game in the south-east divisions the following day at 4:30 p.m.

The regular – Season is expected to end on March 9th and 10th, 2021, before the grand finale is scheduled to take place on March 27th and 28th.
