Valorant Patch 3.00 Agent Tier List

Agent KAY/O has arrived in with the release of 3.00. With the launch of Episode 3 Act 1, numerous changes have been made to agent abilities and weapon prices. We’ve already covered the most severe agent nerfs in Valorant’s latest patch. Now it’s time for our official Valorant 3.00 agent tier list.

Have you played Valorant lately? If so, you’ve probably noticed the changes to the economy in the game. But that’s not all, because these changes have also affected Valorant’s in terms of picks. made the interesting decision not to buff the underpicked agents – instead, they nerfed the favorites. Here is our agent tier list for Valorant 3.00.

Valorant 3.00 Agent Tier List

Let’s start with the top agents you can choose from in Valorant’s 3.00 patch.

S-Tier – KAY/O, Viper, Jett.

  • KAY/O was just introduced to the game and takes the first place in our tier list. The robot agent brought a new mechanic with his signature ability and his Ultimate. By suppressing enemies, they are forced to rely on their Aim as abilities are disabled. The rest of KAY/O’s equipment is also very powerful and players have yet to learn how to use it.
  • Omen and Astra were generated in patch 3.00 and that left us with Viper as the dominant agent in Valorant. She also got some nerfs, but nothing that could dethrone her from her top position. Her post plant is still insane and makes Defusal almost impossible. The question is – will nerf her in the next patch?
  • The last S-tier agent is Jett. She is the only agent who can survive after a miss and get a second try. However, her ability cost has been increased in the current patch and her Ultimate now costs 7 points instead of 6. Jett’s positioning is quite important and she is arguably the agent with the highest skill cap in S-Tier.

A-Tier – Sova, Killjoy, Skye, Cypher, Reyna

  • Sova got some major nerfs to his ability cost in patch 3.00. Other than that, all of his abilities have remained unchanged. He will still be able to do everything as before, it will just cost him a bit more. This earns him a spot at the top of the A tier.
  • Killjoy’s ability cost has remained the same after Valorant’s patch 3.00, but their cooldowns have been changed. Both the Alarm Bot and Turret now have a 20 second cooldown when picked up. Despite this, it’s still pretty good in the current patch.
  • Skye has actually been buffed? Her eagles are more expensive and only have two charges, BUT they now recharge over the course of the round. Trailblazer is a bit more expensive, but the concussion duration has been improved along with the sight radius. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
  • Cypher was the only agent to receive buffs with patch 3.00. Jett can no longer run through his trip wires, and his ultimate cost has been reduced by one. Also, both Killjoy and Sage got the short end of the stick, moving him up the food chain.
  • Reyna’s Leer got a little more expensive with the last patch, so why is she in the A tier? Simple, she is probably the best duelist to combine with KAY/O’s suppression. If Kay/O is already gone, just get Reyna and wait for Suppression. Then you can just march in and trade without worrying about the enemy utility.

B-Tier – Sage, Breach, Omen, Phoenix, Astra

  • Sage only received nerfs with increased costs for Slow Orb and Barrier Orb in this patch. Also, her ultimate ability now costs one point more and that means fewer revives over the course of a match. It is still good and fairly easy to play.
  • The breach has received some interesting changes to his abilities and it’s really hard to tell if he will rise or fall. The next few weeks will be a good indicator of whether Riot has buffed or generated him.
  • Omen was one of the most nerfed agents at the beginning of 2021. That slowly changed from patch to patch. He got numerous nerfs, and 3.00 was no different – Paranioa and Shrouded Step are more expensive, and he no longer gets two Smokes at the start of the turn.
  • Phoenix is one of the most versatile agents in Valorant, but right now he just feels like a worse version of KAY/O. Sure, he can heal, but his utility is weaker, and his Ulti often just kills you twice.
  • Astra was absolutely destroyed with patch 3.00. She was already the most complex agent to pick in the game, and now that her ability cooldowns are basically doubling, she’s in a weird position. She still has a lot of control to offer, but she gets worse and worse with each patch.

C-Tier – Raze, Brimstone, Yoru

  • Ah, Raze, the once OP agent has fallen low. The cost of Raze’s Boombot doubled from 200 credits to 400 credits. That’s almost the cost of a Frenzy. Considering she really wants to use this ability every turn, that’s a lot of extra credits lost. Her ultimate ability has also been generated with an extra point to use it.
  • Brimstone’s Molly became a bit more expensive with patch 3.00. While this isn’t a huge nerf in itself, it’s certainly an attack on his post-plant potential. He’s still great at dropping Smokes, but that’s about it.
  • Yoru is still on the low end of the scale. The Japanese duelist got his blindside cost increased along with Gatecrash’s cooldown. Stop it, Riot, he’s already dead! On the bright side, he will be getting some massive buffs later in the – Season . Or a complete overhaul? Let’s hope for the latter.

Agents are the playable characters in Valorant. Each agent belongs to one of four possible classes and has four abilities. In addition, almost every agent represents a country.

There are nineteen agents in total, although in the earliest versions of the game there were only eight. The rest were added gradually.

There are four different classes: Duelist, Initiator, Controller, and Sentinel.

Agents have one Signature Ability which they get free of charge each round.

The riot was meaning to send off the game with 12 agents, however, just 8 were accessible in the early press constructs. On March 29, 2020, a confidential occasion presented Breach.
