Valorant Agent- Skye Unveiled

Finally, we know what the new Act 3 agent will bring to the matches in terms of . In addition, we can now officially call her Skye!

Games has released a short video that shows what Skye’s abilities are and also reveals a bit about her personality. Skye is a sassy Australian who is friends with Sage, so I guess all Sentianls know each other! But what do the two Sentianels have in common? Well, they can both heal! Yes that’s right, in Valorant Act 3 another healer joins the roster of agents.

has officially released an in-game preview of the new , Skye. We get to see her abilities in action, hear her voice, and otherwise get a great at the new agent.

The video begins with some Valorant lore. Strange weather events known as “The Light” are occurring around the world. This has given many people strange new powers, and in response, a secret organization called Valorant is formed and is now recruiting various agents for their organization. So begins the video where Sage calls Skye and asks for iHelp! Okay, maybe you’re not interested in the history of Valorant, so let’s just get on with the powers.

We don’t currently know the name of Skye’s abilities, but that’s okay because at least we can see what she can do!

All of Skye’s abilities are based on nature and her animals, she even says herself that she is not used to working with humans. Her first ability we see is lightning. Skye sends out her falcon, which flies in a straight line and then marks the enemy.

Next up, Skye’s Heal is ready for action. It appears to be an AoE heal that needs to be channeled. This means that Syke has to take cover before she can use it, as she can’t move or shoot during the heal, which is high risk.

After the healing ability, we see Skye summon a wolf (it’s actually a dingo native to Australia) that the player controls. Once you find someone with this ability, you can stun the enemy with it. So it’s a classy ability for scouting.

Lastly, we’ve seen Skye use some sort of nature magic that sends out several green will-o’-the-wisps that seek out the enemy, revealing and flashing them on the map. It’s not entirely clear how this ability works just by looking at the video.

That’s all we know about Skye and her menagerie of beasts! Presumably, she’ll be in the game on October 27.
