Valorant Agent Killjoy: These are his skills

The 12th is called Killjoy. After yesterday’s leak, the new character for Riot’s shooter hit becomes a bit more concrete, because apparently his abilities are already known.

First the Easter Egg, then the leaks. The next Agent goes by the name Killjoy and apparently has a penchant for turrets. Here’s everything we know about Killjoy, who should come into play with Valorant Act 2.

Killjoy, are you in the middle?

Everything we know about Valorant Agent Killjoy

Valorant fans have been anticipating the release of the 12th agent for a while now. Voicelines, animations and the Easter Egg found yesterday pointed to the agent from Germany. Thanks to a now deleted info page on the Valorant website, we now know more.

The page, titled “Enter Killjoy”, told us about the abilities of agent number 12 and offered space for some YouTube videos – which, however, were still missing. On the page, Killjoy himself spoke up, the text read:

“Ok Brimstone, I read your beginner’s . All you had to say was: get me on your team!”

Maybe Killjoy should have read our Valorant guides too? Anyway, here are the skills of Valorant Agent Killjoy.

Well, which intern put the info page online too early?

The abilities of Killjoy

Killjoy seems to be a classic, gun-using FPS character. He can be compared to Torbjörn from . Just a bit taller and apparently not quite as bearded – a shame really.

He has several abilities in which the agent lays out traps and weapons – including a powerful turret, which can rotate 180 degrees to boot, and an “alarm bot.”

Also, the descriptions of Killjoy’s skills are unlikely to find their way into the game as they are written from his perspective.

Skill 1 (C) – Alarm Bot

Equip a bot that hunts down nearby enemies that come within range.

When your killer bot friend reaches its target, it goes boom. Alarmbot not only deals damage, briefly all targets suffer double damage from any source. Hold down the button to retrieve the dispatched bot.

Ability 2 (Q) – Turret

Sometimes it’s good to plant some roots. Set up a turret that will target enemies in a 180-degree radius. Hold down the button to take the gun down again.

The gun can be used to hold one area pretty well by itself, while your colleagues cover and protect other areas.

Killjoy’s turret is quite practical. And colorful.

Signature Ability (E) – Nanoswarm

Throw a grenade. When it lands, it goes silent. Then activate the Nanoswarm to release a damaging swarm of Nanobots and marvel at the crying enemies. Genius trick!

(X) – Lockdown

You have to get the timing right when you wind it up, but once it gets going, it locks down all enemies in its radius for about 8 seconds. Yeah sure, enemies can destroy it – unless you build a lot more of them.

Sounds pretty interesting for our taste. However, it is still unclear when Killjoy will find its way into Valorant. But since some gameplay clips have already made it to social media, it probably won’t take too much longer. Valorant Episode 2 Ignition could launch as early as August 2.
