Why was there so much shouting?

Canadian streamer Vuzby was out in Apex Legends streaming it live on Twitch. However, in the game on the map Olympus, which was redesigned in – Season 12, he got into hard trouble. Vuzby must have panicked and yelled loudly for help in the Vocie chat.

It came, but differently than Vuzby had probably thought. Suddenly, uniformed officers knocked on his window and shortly afterwards a police patrol stood in his streaming room and looked over his shoulder into the camera.

Vuzby is an up and coming streamer from Canada. His game of choice is Apex Legends. He only has 3,898 followers (as of February 17, 2022), but his clip of the police action has already received over 100,000 views.

Why did the police come?

The officers calmly and politely asked if he was streaming and possibly had been yelling loudly for help lately.

Vuzby then said that this may well have been the case. He was doing it for “content” and was terribly frightened when the police officers suddenly appeared.

How did it turn out?

The officers noted this with amusement and informed Vuzby that apparently passers-by had mistaken his desperate cries for a real threat and subsequently informed the patrol. He was told to please close the window so that this would not happen again.

As a farewell, the policeman looked into the camera and wished Vuzby many more viewers in his stream. According to Vuzby, the policeman asked for his channel name. Maybe there would be a future cooperation, Vuzby said with a wink at the end.

So things turned out unexpectedly well. For as nice and friendly as this situation was handled, many a clash between streamers and police in the past ended tragically. Because of the dangerous bad habit of “swatting”, malicious trolls set police task forces on streamers and in one case a streamer was even shot by the police because of it.
