Valorant Closed Beta: What have we learned?

Let’s take the time to reflect on what a hurricane the Valorant closed beta has been, both for the Esports scene and for Riot Games as a company. In case you didn’t know, Riot Games was until now only known for their popular MOBA success League of Legends.

What does the future hold for Dota 2?

Dota 2 has had its ups and downs in 2020. At the moment, the future of this MOBA is uncertain as more and more players leave this game for other popular esports. We reduce the minimum hit points within the life support field and also Baptiste’s area heal because densely packed teams benefited too much from it. However, direct hits with healing grenades now heal the affected ally more. So Baptiste can still heal individual targets efficiently, but he has to aim a little more precisely to do so.

Overwatch

Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooter from the US game developer Blizzard Entertainment. The game is set in Blizzard’s fourth fantasy universe after Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. Overwatch was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since then, bug fixes (patches) and updates have been released at regular intervals. A version for Nintendo Switch has been available since October 15, 2019. In Overwatch, two teams of six players each compete against each other. Both teams fight for control of a given location or escort a cargo on the playing field within a given period of time.
