We already mentioned the announcement of the top 1000 players in a previous article, but now we have all the information and are happy to pass it on to you.

Top 1000 FIFA 21 Players

EA Sports has released the ratings of the top 1000 players available in FIFA 21. That means we have a lot of names and numbers to look at. But don’t worry, we won’t list all the names now, just highlighting some of our more striking observations.

Messi sets a milestone

At the top, as always, no surprise: Messi . He has now been named top dog in ten FIFA titles. No big surprise, although the third player on the list – Robert Lewandowski – might have deserved a top rating this year after a phenomenal – Season with Bayern Munich .

The distance between number 1 and number 1000

16 points. Equally big is Messi, who is rated 93, at No. 1000 over Southampton’s Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina, who is 77-rated. Lemina needn’t worry too much though, as he shares that score with 153 other players, including Wayne Rooney.

Amazing squad depth from Real Madrid

One would think that Liverpool , who have won their first domestic title in 30 years following a Champions League trophy, or Bayern , who have won every German and European competition on their way to the treble, would have the most players in the top have 1000. But that’s not entirely true. While they still have 18 and 20 players respectively in the top 1000, there is one team that has even more top players in FIFA 21.

In FIFA 21, Real Madrid is the team with the most Top 1000 players. The Spanish champions have an impressive 26 players in the top 1000, all in an OVR 79+. In fact, Rodrygo is the only one of the 26 to have an OVR below 80. Four players are tied at 89, leading Los Blancos at the top.

English Premier League wins over La Liga

Despite Real Madrid, it’s not quite enough for the Spanish La Liga . The English Premier League is the league with the most players in the top 1000. The EPL’s 216 players still make up 21.6% of the list. La Liga is not too far behind with 198 representatives. Both leagues together make up an incredible 41.4% of the top 1000 players in FIFA 21.

Spain strikes back

England’s league may have more top 1000 players, but among the individual countries, Spain has the edge. The list features a total of 149 Spaniards, which is almost 50% more than second place France . There are exactly 103 baguettes in FIFA 21’s top 1000. However, France showed at the last World Cup that quantity isn’t everything, so they shouldn’t be too chuffed about us calling them baguettes.

What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles.
