AVANGAR is a Kazakhstani esports organization which was founded in the summer of 2017. It ceased operations on April 1, 2020, after choosing to focus on building and developing esports venues in Kazakhstan. Oilrig is an annihilation card in Counter – Strike . Oilrig is the only map of this mode to ever be officially released and has never seen a reprint since Counter-Strike due to the unpopularity of the map and its mode. On the map, a VIP must be taken to the surface of an oil rig by the counter-terrorist squad and protected from the terrorists .

The GSG 9 of the Federal Police (Grenzschutzgruppe 9) is a German anti-terrorist unit composed of Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The unit is one of the four classic counter-terrorist units in the series and appears in all official offshoots.

CS:GO Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO for short) is a computer game from the genre of online tactical shooters. It was developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment and is the fourth part of the Counter-Strike series. The game was released on August 21, 2012 for Windows, Linux, macOS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe failed to materialize for unknown reasons. Global Offensive achieved a Metascore of 83 points. Since September 14, 2017, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has also been available in China via the Perfect World client. In December 2018, the game was switched to a free-to-play model, which drew criticism.
