The “Inner Circle” (Russian: внутренний круг) is a Global Terror Organization from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which was led by Vladimir Makarov until January 21, 2017. It was active from 2011-2017.

Heroes Call of Duty – Anatoly (Modern Warfare 2)

Anatoly is a Russian ultranationalist who appears in the mission No Russian in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. When Vladimir Makarov, PFC Joseph Allen (under his alias Alexei Borodin), Viktor, Kiril and Lev start a rampage at Zakhaev International Airport, Anatoly ends up picking up his two comrades Viktor and Vladimir in an ambulance. He does not take part in the massacre itself, acting more as the getaway driver at the end.

Shadow Company first appears in Loose Ends, in the Caucasus mountains on the border between Russia and Georgia. There they protect the landing zone that Roach and Ghost must reach after downloading secret files about Makarov. They are only briefly on the good side, as their leader, General Shepherd, betrays Roach and Ghost and kills them both. Some soldiers help Shepherd dispose of the bodies by pouring gasoline on them and lighting them with Shepherd’s cigar.
