This is what Team 2 looks like – FUT Superstar gets upgrade

The last FUT event before Christmas is coming up in and by now we also know what’s coming: Winter Wildcard has been released on December 17th. We show you who made it into the team.

In the past years it was FUT promos like “Freeze” and “Futmas” that marked the month of December. 22 is different – one week after the start of “Versus” “Winter Wildcard” comes into the game as a new event. There is no special concept, but new special cards with upgrades.

FIFA 22: Versus replaces Freeze- the second cards of the players are out

Winter Wildcard: When did the FUT event start?

Once again, the FUT loading screen has revealed the start of a new Ultimate Team event. It will start on Friday (December 17) at 7pm. That’s when the new special cards will appear on the occasion of “Winter Wildcard”. Apparently there will be some Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) in the following days, so it should continue to go blow by blow.

Preview: What awaits us at Winter Wildcard?

While the new “Versus” event was primarily about EA Sports giving FUT gamers the chance to decide between two versions of a player special card, there probably won’t be anything so special about “Winter Wildcard”. The promo will apparently be one of those where new special cards with upgrades will simply appear on the market without any special concept.

Winter Wildcard: Which cards will be available at the FUT event?

Of course, we are still in the speculative realm here, as long as there is no official release on Friday night. Still, on social media, many FUT accounts are pretty unanimous on some cards. So from experience, there may be something to this and it’s not just a shot in the dark. One card that is getting a lot of attention is the special card of Djibril Sow from Eintracht Frankfurt.
