In fiscal year 2021 alone, Ultimate Team generated net sales of $1.6 billion (just over €1.3 billion)! That’s roughly 29% of EA’s total revenue. Ultimate Team’s financial success story seems to be almost unlimited at the moment.
In 2015, sales were still in the region of 500 million euros, but in 2018 the company broke the billion mark. While the sales figures relate to all of EA’s sports games, since FIFA has the highest sales figures in the world, the lion’s share of profits comes from FUT.
