Omen – The optimal “Smoker
The once unpopular Agent #Omen is currently in second place in the rankings, and was added to a team 69 percent of the time. He was used especially often on the maps Split and Ascent, but less often on Haven and Bind.
Omen impresses most with powerful Smokes, smoke bombs used as line-of-sight obstructions and cover. Since Sniper Rifles, like the overpowered Operator, still dominate the weapon meta, such Smokes are essential in Valorant.
Sova – top scout, except on one map.
With the hunter – Sova once again a reconnaissance player comes under the top-5 of the hero selection. He was chosen in 65% of the cases and gets high pick rates in almost all maps. Only on the twisted map Split he was never selected.
Sova is especially strong as a tactical scout, using sonar arrows and his owl drone to quickly find out if an enemy is holed up somewhere or preparing to attack.
Jett – The most popular duelist
– Jett used to be more in the midfield, but that changed since the Previous Tournament PAX Invitational. In the meantime, Jett has risen from a former 44% to a pick rate of 63%.
Her fast, aggressive and versatile gameplay supported the plays popular in the FaZe tournament. Because some of the best actions in the competition were built on strong movement and daring actions. And here Jett is simply unbeatable.
Sage – No longer the ultimate
Once the healer – Sage was virtually a pich with 100%. Now she “only” gets a rate of 57%. This is due, among other things, to numerous nerfs that brought the once much too good agent back down to earth.
Still, Sage is a solid and strong agent that is almost always present, especially on the map Split. Because nothing regulates the passage in the center better than her ice wall.
Wait, there’s something missing: In fact, the 12th agent in Valorant was not represented in the rating. This is because Killjoy was not eligible in the FaZe tournament on the advice of Riot. This is because the new heroine would first be tested more closely for her suitability for the tournament.
