Player and YouTuber TheGodlyNoob shows in his latest video how good he has become after 7000 hours in Rainbow Six Siege. The shooter is considered particularly difficult for beginners – but TheGodlyNoob makes even the hardest tricks look easy.
This is what 7000 hours in Rainbow Six looks like: TheGodlyNoob shows several scenes from the game in his montage, in which he performs particularly well. However, he doesn’t just dismantle any noobs, but even sets his own challenges.
The video still starts quite tamely with a 1v5 play. As Caveira, he’s the last one left on his team and manages to take out the entire enemy team by cleverly using corners, stairs and holes in the floor and ceiling.
In the very next clip, however, he takes on a hardcore challenge: One bullet per opponent. He empties his entire magazine from the gun down to five shots so that he is forced to kill every opponent with one bullet.
If an opponent dies at the hands of a team member, he simply shoots the corresponding bullet into the wall. TheGodlyNoob even wins this round, getting four of the five possible kills:
In his later rounds, he even shows how he destroys C4 thrown at him in mid-air with just one shot. Such an action is considered extremely good even among professionals, since in online games the ping usually causes the C4 to detonate and kill the attacker before he can react.
Who is the player? TheGodlyNoob has been producing content for Rainbow Six Siege for over five years and is known in the community for, among other things, being vocal in his criticism. Sometimes this is met with disapproval from other players (via reddit).
Nevertheless, he runs a huge YouTube channel with 1.05 million subscribers, on which he repeatedly uploads guides, tips and entertaining videos about Rainbow Six. He regularly generates thousands of clicks and apparently appeals to many fans of the game with his content.
One bullet per opponent – How to get so good?
You can check it out: In the first scene, you can already see TheGodlyNoob blowing up a piece of floor on the map so he can see up. Walls and floors are often destructible in Rainbow Six to create just such situations.
As a rule, wooden walls and floors are destructible if they are not reinforced. Use this knowledge to either surprise enemies or prevent yourself from becoming a victim. Small “peepholes” are also helpful, for which even a shot through a wall is enough.
In almost all clips, however, it can be seen that TheGodlyNoob never reloads right after a bullet. As a tactical shooter, shots in Rainbow Six hit much harder and a shot to the head is usually always fatal. Reloading takes time and leaves you vulnerable to enemy attacks.
That’s why it’s important to never reload right after a shot unless you’re absolutely sure there are no enemies left in the area. MyMMO author Benedict Grothaus also learned this in Rainbow Six:
Reloading after a shot – How I got rid of my biggest shooter quirk
How do I get even better? What else stands out about TheGodlyNoob is his keyboard. He uses a so-called “TKL” keyboard (“tenkeyless”) without a number pad. This is shorter and he can “rotate” it to use a more comfortable hand position. This is a matter of taste, but if you’re still looking for better hardware, you can find the best gaming keyboards to buy in 2021 on MeinMMO. TKL keyboards and tests are also presented there.
Of course, the pure “skill” can’t be learned theoretically alone, that comes with experience and playing time. TheGodlyNoob has quite a lot of both with his 7000 hours. However, for starters, we have 5 tips for beginners and advanced players that will help you in Rainbow Six.
