Offensive words in the Overwatch League
While the Overwatch League (OWL) delivered many exciting matches this weekend, the most notable moment came during a match chat between the Los Angeles Valiant and the San Francisco Shock. Jung-Won “Lastro” Mun of Valiant and Dong-Jun “Rascal” Kim of Shock were the unfortunate recipients of a rare Overwatch League fine for visibly “colorful” language.
Overwatch Heroes – Doomfist
Doomfist’s cybernetic implants make him a mobile front-line fighter with a lot of penetrating power. With his hand cannon he also causes ranged damage, but his strength lies in close combat: With one blow Doomfist makes the earth tremble, hurls opponents into the air or makes them stagger, or he plunges into the middle of the fray with his steam hammer.

Somebody’s eyes wide open… Overwatch welcomes its players with an April Fool’s update. The heroes got huge googly eyes: the Googly Eyes. And that looks damn cute – and crazy!April April – that’s what Overwatch is saying right now. Their April Fools’ update brings a new skin of sorts, with only the hero’s eyes being affected:

Echo is an advanced robot created by Dr. Mina Liao with an extremely adaptable artificial intelligence. Thanks to her versatility, she can take on a wide variety of roles in combat. Since she joined the Overwatch team in the fight against Null Sector in Paris, she is finally considered a full-fledged member of Overwatch.

Overwatch
Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooter from the US game developer Blizzard Entertainment. The game is set in Blizzard’s fourth fantasy universe after Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. Overwatch was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since then, bug fixes (patches) and updates have been released at regular intervals. A version for Nintendo Switch has been available since October 15, 2019. In Overwatch, two teams of six players each compete against each other. Both teams fight for control of a given location or escort a cargo on the playing field within a given period of time.
