Thanks SO much to Blizzard for allowing me to use the #StarCraftII visuals for this video and, most of all, for choosing my song as the winner! I’ve been playing StarCraft since the original came out 12 years ago – and now the sequel – so I’m unbelievably excited about this!
For those of you who might like a little explanation of the song: This piece is inspired by one of the most complex and strangely endearing villains, Sarah Kerrigan – the self-styled Queen of Blades from StarCraft & #StarCraftII – and her impact on the hero, Jim Raynor.
Finally, GO GET STARCRAFT II. The game is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Lyrics:
And he says, signal the fleet,
on his mark, everyone you know,
begins to leave,
all you have left:
blacks out their retreat,
all you have left:
is the swarm above your head,
you felt her fall away,
calling out your name,
as she became,
the Queen of Blades.
She called out from something like a tomb
and when you came just a little too late,
all you have left:
is the one you never saved,
all you have left:
is a war to take her place.

StarCraft Heroes – Overmind.
Created thousands of years ago by the enigmatic Xel’Naga, the Overmind represents the collective consciousness of the Zerg race. Obsessed with his belief that he exists only to become the perfect life form by assimilating the strongest races in the universe, the Overmind is steadfast in his sacred mission.
Planets StarCraft – Korhal.
Korhal IV is the headquarters of the Terran League, and its irradiated surface is a common testament to humanity’s warlike past in the Koprulu Sector. The planet is the fourth in the Korhal system and is often simply called “Korhal”. It was green and had a mild climate when it was colonized by the Tarsonian settlers in the early years of Terran expansion.
StarCraft Units – Jacksons Revenge.
The Terrans can neither boast impressive technologies nor unbeatable masses, they seem to be the least dangerous race in the StarCraft universe. However, this is also their strength, often underestimated by the enemy, they can attack from ambush and thus take advantage of the surprise effect. The Terran forces are often formed from prisoners who want to shorten their sentence.
StarCraft Missions – Contamination.
As with all advanced scenarios, there are only two different units with which you should destroy as many enemies as possible. As in the Secret Operations scenario , you won’t be attacked and instead you have to get a certain number of kills in a certain amount of time.
StarCraft Buildings – Supply Depot.
The Supply Depot is a building constructed by Terran for the purpose of providing supply. Each Supply Depot raises the Terran’s supply cap by eight. Supply Depots are also used for strategic purposes, typically for walling. Another use for them is to be placed near other Terran buildings to create obstructions that enemy units must walk around, giving Terran time to out micro his opponent.
