The best FIFA 21 players from the EURO round of sixteen

The round of 16 of the EURO 2020 is history. We were able to marvel at exciting matches, many goals and incredible games. Some underdogs were able to prevail. We show you the outstanding players of the teams that advanced and introduce them to you in 21.

What a lot of fights there were in the round of 16 of the current European Championship. It’s hard to believe what exciting games were there. I hope your betting slips survived the surprises – or are you one of those absolutely insane people who say: “France – Switzerland? It’ll be ‘3-3’ after 90 minutes.”

Whatever the case, we’ll show you players here who stood out especially in their team’s success and played a decisive role in their advancement. Is Spinazzola good in FIFA 21? Find out here.

Denmark: Kasper Dolberg
Let’s start with Denmark, who in the end won furiously 4-0 against Wales and sent Gareth Bale & Co. home. Alongside Mikkel Damsgard, who set up the 1:0, Kasper Dolberg was the decisive factor in the team’s progress. The 23-year-old scored the first two goals very skillfully. After that, the game was as good as over.

Dolberg’s IF in FIFA 21 is fine. If you are one of those players who haven’t played Team for a while and want to play again since the European Championship, you can get him for 40,000 coins.

Italy: Leandro Spinazzola

The man from AS Roma was very important in the extra time against Austria. He provided the assist for the 1:0 and also had his feet in the decisive 2:0.

In FIFA 21, however, Spinazzola is… crap. The pace is maybe just about usable with a boost, but overall he is not recommendable for FUT.

Czech Republic: Patrik Schick

Schick, Schick, Schick and again: Schick. The Bayer Leverkusen striker scored his fourth goal of the tournament in a surprising 2-0 win over the Netherlands.

It’s just a shame he hasn’t been given a FoF card yet. Maybe he’ll make it to the Summer Stars. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for him. Unfortunately, Schick’s current best version in FIFA 21 is not very strong.

Belgium: Thorgan Hazard

The Dortmund player was the match-winner in the top duel against the reigning European champions Portugal with his artistic shot. His brother Eden Hazard also flashed his old class now and then, but the show belonged to the younger Thorgan.

His FoF Path to Glory card in FIFA 21 is also really nice and will soon be upgraded to 93!

Spain: Ferran Torres

Ok, in the absolutely crazy match between Spain and Croatia, which ended 5:3 after extra time, it’s not easy to highlight just one player. Cesar Azpilicueta (one goal) or Dani Olmo (two assists) would have been choices as well. However, with his goal and assist and an overall convincing performance, we went for Torres.

Switzerland: Yann Sommer

Un-fucking-believable. Switzerland just knocks out world champions France 8:7 after a penalty shootout…. Who would have thought that? Admittedly: Haris Seferovic was an extremely important man for the Nati over the 90 minutes with his brace – but we celebrate the 1.83m man in the box, who was able to block Kylian Mbappé’s decisive penalty.

His short height doesn’t make him the first choice for FUT-21 keepers, but if you want to, you can play with him already.

England: Raheem Sterling

A really even duel against the German national team was then decided not least by individual class. Sterling’s 1-0 goal opened the door for the Three Lions to progress.

In FIFA 21, his FUT Birthday card is the most powerful version of the winger. His three goals in the European Championship so far are extremely valuable for England.

Ukraine: Oleksandr Zinchenko

The Manchester City full-back is the absolute superstar in the Ukraine team. In the national team, compared to the club, he plays even a tad more offensively in midfield. He contributed a goal and an assist in the late 2-1 win over Sweden.

WHEN WILL FIFA 23 BE RELEASED?

We can’t give you an launch date for the next part of the FIFA game series yet.
