The new 3rd chapter of Fortnite has been out since December 5 and the community has never ceased to be amazed. Many new features are being praised and the game feels like it’s a new one again. We’ll show you what the players have to say.
What’s new? Chapter 3 was launched on December 5 and players from all over the world could enjoy the new coat of Fortnite. New map with new weapons and new features impress players and provide a breath of fresh air.
Now that the release is already a few days ago, we at MeinMMO take a closer look at the voices of the community and look at mood, how Chapter 3 has arrived. Three things stood out in particular that players celebrated.
3 things in Chapter 3 that players particularly praise
Fortnite players have now had a few days to let the new chapter sink in. Three things stood out in particular, which were very positively received by the community:
- Slide
- Variety in fights thanks to red dot visor
- Community focus
Matches become slippery slopes
What is meant by this? Since the new – Season , players can now slide after a sprint. To do this, they have to crouch after a sprint and are then able to cover certain distances quickly. Whether high mountains or steep slopes, everything is currently mastered with slides.
Furthermore, you can also fire while sliding to surprise your opponents.
What do the players say? In reddit, many funny memes are posted regarding the slide, but everyone is sure in the comments that this feature is very successful. In the process, comments come up like:
Sliding and shooting with the MK-7 is the most satisfying thing ever. […]
Another player also thinks:
I need a very high mountain so I can just slide down it. There could be lava at the bottom, I would still slide all the way down.
Combing through the comments, you realize that everyone agrees: Sliding is a cool thing.
The new favorite rifle: MK-7 assault rifle
What is meant by this? Fortnite, through the new chapter, packed all the old weapons into the vault and threw new ones onto the map. Among them there was a rifle, which was equipped with a special feature.
As you aim, you actually look down the sights and are put into first-person mode. This gives you more accurate aiming and gives you a moderate zoom.
What do the players say? On Twitter, all the players agree. The new gun is incredibly good. All players comment with statements about “how sick” the new gun is and how cool it is that Epic is making such a change and that they could do the same with other weapons.
Focus on community
What is meant by this? With the update, Epic wrote in Patch Notes 19.00 that all actions, such as reviving players, restarting teammates, or opening a vault, are faster collaboratively.
So if you’re in a team or trio, you can revive players faster if your mates help you do it. This allows you to be ready to fight faster and saves additional time. Teams that host lone wolves will shoot themselves in the foot, as everything will be delayed.
By having such features that are team-based, Fortnite makes for more collegial team play. So if you’re familiar with the Teams or Trios modes, you know that often players act selfishly and the rest of the team suffers as a result. With this change, players now have an incentive to act as a team rather than clearing the field on their own and ultimately perishing.
