The new shooter Valorant from Riot Games is currently the talk of the town. Twitch streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney (22) has also tried it out. While many other streamers are enthusiastic, he is the streamer with the most followers on Twitch.

What does Tfue say? While the streamer Summit1g is convinced of Valorant and even claims that it will be 10 times better than Overwacht, the well-known Fortnite player Tfue is rather reserved.

In a Twitch stream about Valorant, he was asked by viewers in the chat whether he would play the shooter more often now. His answer sounded unconvinced:

It’s already very boring, Dude. I don’t like playing in a team, I like it better in 1v1. […]. It’s a good game, but it’s boring. It’s more for older people, that’s for sure.

Tfue is known for being rather solo in games. He prefers battle royale games like H1Z1 or Fortnite. He owes his rise on Twitch to Fortnite in particular.

Valorant, on the other hand, relies heavily on team play and a group of 5 players.

Tfue does not believe that children will play Valorant

Valorant is too slow for Tfue: In the livestream, the Twitch streamer directly emphasizes several times that the shooter is simply too slow for him. He says that Valorant is a good game in itself, but the lack of speed should lead to older people playing Valorant in his eyes:

It’s so fucking slow. Kids aren’t going to play this shit. It’s more of a patient, strategic game for old men, you know?

Valorant is a hit on Twitch: The fact that Valorant plays so slowly and strategically doesn’t seem to be a big drawback, though. Currently, the shooter is extremely popular on Twitch. It benefits from the fact that beta keys are available via Twitch drops.

It seems to be a really good phase right now for shooter fans who have the choice between “Battle Royale” titles like Fortnite or CoD: Warzone or tactical games like Rainbow Six Siege or Valorant.
