From the house Ubisoft come since a few days numerous Leaks and announcements. Fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise may either rejoice or fret, depending on their own points of view, because Ubisoft has added quite a bit of Innovations planned. The title, which was published under the name Assassin’s Creed Invictus is known, however, is rather weak compared to the other announcements. Now reported Ubisoft’s vice president and executive producer Marc-Alexis Côté with new information about the planned multiplayer title.
Assassin’s Creed Invictus according to Côté’s statements shall be a multiplayer stand-alone title will be. The development teams behind For Honor and Rainbow Six Siege are probably working on the multiplayer title at the moment. The big announced Live Service project called Assassin’s Creed Infinity is ultimately intended to bring Invictus and other new Assassin’s Creed titles together under one big umbrella.

When asked by gaming magazine IGN, Marc-Alexis Côté said the following about the plans for Invictus so far: He wants to get a game title off the ground that is “more accessible and mass-market ready than the multiplayer offerings of previous titles.” In response to the question, whether Invictus could become a free-to-play title.Côté replied that the plans were not yet final, but that this option was certainly within the realm of possibility.
Assassin’s Creed Invictus is supposed to unite characters from different time periods in one game to bring the individual game titles of the Assassin’s Creed series even closer together. With this information you can already speculate about the setting; about the Gameplay but unfortunately nothing is known yet. Whether the multiplayer title will be similar to the multiplayer modes from previous titles like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood or Unity, or perhaps something completely new and independent, remains to be seen.
Is there a release date yet?
For Assassin’s Creed Invictus could Ubisoft no release time window yet announce. The next Assassin’s Creed title will be Assassin’s Creed Mirage which is available for 2023 announced which is supposed to take players back to the roots of the series. Furthermore, there are some announcements about titles that are in the works, but so far only have project names.
Codename JADE will be set in ancient China and will allow players to create their own characters for the first time in the history of the Assassin’s Creed series. Codename RED will probably have feudal Japan as its setting and Codename HEXE is supposed to offer an occult setting, possibly at the time of the witch hunts in Salem.
