Well-known streamer Tyler1 recently uncovered two players boosting in League of Legends live in his stream. They were former jungler Vincent “Anti” Filosa of the team “Ambition Sussy” and the former assistant coach and manager of the same team, Naomie “Chocovanille” Fontaine.

How the two were exposed

During a round of League of Legends, Tyler noticed one member of his team in particular. The jungler seemed to make no effort to even begin to win the round. After the game was over, Tyler looked at the play of his jungler (“R5 Jungle”) and the opposing support (“Chocovanille”) and found that the two played exclusively together.

This is usually not uncommon in League of Legends, but once you reach the rank of Master in the ladder, it is no longer possible to enter matches in pairs. This means that the two of them were doing so-called “queue sniping”.

What is queue sniping anyway?

In this action, the two tried to get on a team together by starting the game search at the same time. If this didn’t work and “R5 Jungle” ended up on the opposing team, he would intentionally lose the game so that “Chocovanille” would still win and get league points. When he was on the team with her, he won the games.

Tyler was able to see this pattern in their game play over several weeks and thus uncovered that the trainer “Chocovanille” was clearly being boosted here by “Anticipation”, who is behind the account “R5 Jungle” and is a member of the team she was training. This is not allowed in League of Legends.

How did Team Ambition react?

Since the two were members of the amateur team “Team Ambition Sussy,” the organization cracked down. Both were kicked off the team shortly after Tyler’s stream.
