Who is Obey Vauxie? On her Facebook profile, she bills herself as an “Australian Creator, FPS [First Person Shooter]-enthusiast and Call of Duty queen” (via Facebook). She is a content creator on Twitter-, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube active.

On her channels you can find several clips in which she plays Call of Duty. Among them, there are three short videos in which the streamer demonstrates a special tactic she uses to get her teammates to revive. Twice she was successful, once less so.

“Hey, can you please revive me? I will send you foot pictures”

On July 25, 2022, Obey Vauxie posted a video clip on Twitter in which she needs reviving in CoD: Warzone. So she asks her teammates in English, “Hey, can you resurrect me please? I will send you foot pictures.”

On the map, you see the teammate racing to the streamer, however, he dies on the way to her. But immediately the backup comes to Obey Vauxie in the form of another teammate.

The streamer then repeats her offer and sure enough, the other player promptly sets about reviving her. In-game, Obey Vauxie jumps up, enthusiastically saying, “Here we go! New duo, hello!”

A second clip shows how successful Obey Vauxie is with her strategy in CoD. Here she offers nude pictures for a revival. Obey Vauxie herself seems a bit surprised at how quickly her teammate comes to her and revives her. The streamer then thanks her.

Why does Obey Vauxie make the videos? Under the Twitter video, several users asked if the streamer really sent the pictures. She did not give an answer to that. However, she says on her Twitter channel that she considers her content to be satire itself and calls it trolling videos.

It can be assumed that she therefore did not really send the pictures to the other players, but wants to produce videos for her channels and entertain.

Did Obey Vauxie’s strategy always work? In one of her TikToks videos, the streamer offered her bathwater to team members in exchange for reviving them. In response, her CoD teammates jumped into the sea of the map one by one and drowned themselves. Obey Vauxie laughed and said, “They absolutely did not want my bathwater” (via TikTok).

You can tell from her content that Obey Vauxie is playing with very physical themes and perhaps wants to be a bit provocative. She also doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously in the process, but also makes fun of gaming clichés, as you can see from the bath water exchange.
