BERSERK DESCRIPTION
For millennia, the Templar caste has defended the Protoss race against threats from within and without, while their members have devoted their long lives to the pursuit of martial perfection. The berserkers are supreme templar warriors who have yet to earn their rise to the highest ranks of the Khala. Always ready for battle, the berserkers train diligently to attune themselves to the lores of the Khala and prove themselves worthy of ascension. They are a shining example of the Protoss’ unyielding resolve in war.
The Berserkers’ already impressive prowess is further enhanced by the addition of cybernetic implants and their coveted combat suits. Still, a berserker is far more than just the sum of the technology they employ. Each Berserker undergoes decades of training in hand-to-hand combat, tactics, pain-suppression techniques, and a variety of other combat techniques. They are taught to hate their enemy fervently and to hunt them down without any mercy.
Like all Protoss, Berserkers possess psionic abilities, focusing solely on the martial application of their potential. Focus crystals built into the forearms of their battlesuits allow the Berserkers to channel their willpower into blades of pure psionic energy, their primary melee weapon. Using a limited form of anticipation, Berserkers are even able to anticipate their opponents’ movements, allowing them to strike with deadly precision and evade enemy attacks with millimeter precision.
Some berserkers have even developed the ability to turn their bodies into pure energy for a few microseconds. This allows them to move at lightning speed and suddenly attack enemies who thought they were a safe distance away.
The recent Zerg invasion of the Protoss homeworld of Aiur forced the Protoss to retreat to Shakuras, the far-flung planet of the dark templar. The Templars, and the Berserkers in particular, are overwhelmed by the ignominy and shame of this defeat. Many voices were raised calling for a return to Aiur, the cradle of Protoss civilization. In preparation for that memorable day, and until the call to arms rings out again, the berserkers undergo an even more rigorous training regimen.

PROTOSS
General Information
With their advanced technologies, the Protoss manage to spread fear and terror throughout the Starcraft universe. A variety of different combat robots, as well as some specially trained fighters who possess psi powers, are available to the Protoss in their battles against other forces. However, these also have their price, the training of fighters and upgrading with robots, not only devours vast amounts of resources, but also costs a lot of time.
The Protoss are considered the oldest and most developed race, but their old culture also has disadvantages. The Protoss naturally see themselves as autocrats and do not adapt to the new dangers, they remain in their rigid caste system and preserve the strict hierarchy in their culture at all costs.
