Starcraft Heroes – Izsha

Izsha

The being known as “Izsha” was one of the Queen’s truly unique creations, infusing the swarm’s collective consciousness with traits such as episodic memory. However, since “her” functions were more suited to hive organization than warfare, Izsha remained largely hidden from Zerg enemies.

Among the Zerg, Izsha fills a role similar to that of the Terran military aide-de-camp, assisting with navigation, logistic , and data logging. Izsha is physically connected to the Leviathan’s nerve center, where she filters the ceaseless stream of sensory data the swarm receives every second.

Izsha’s suggestions and guidance stem from an earlier time, when the Queen of Blades, sensing a great and terrible threat to the swarm, took steps to preserve her own memories for the Zerg’s future. Izsha is quite literally a living record of the experiences of the Queen of Blades and World Destroyer. What use can it be to Sarah Kerrigan?

After her adversaries among the Terrans and Protoss were pushed back or destroyed at the conclusion of the so-called “Brood War”, the Queen of Blades began experimenting with the further development of the swarm. Just as the Overmind had transformed her, she too wanted to emulate Sarah Kerrigan’s “rebirth” in her first attempts at creating new Zerg species.

Story (Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty) The story of StarCraft II Wings of Liberty continues the saga and takes place four years after the events of StarCraft: Brood War. The storyline features familiar characters such as Jim Raynor or Kerrigan, but new heroes such as Tychus J. Findlay or Matt Horner also play a role.

However, the campaigns of the three races are completely different. In Wings of Liberty you have to earn money through missions to reinforce your troops. As far as the story is concerned, you are Jim Raynor with the Raynor Raiders fighting against the League. The Zerg campaign itself is more role-playing oriented and you act from Kerrigan’s point of view. The Protoss campaign is mainly about diplomacy.
