Raynor’s troops have run out of money and low morale, but Jim is trying to change that by acquiring artifacts and selling them to an ominous “Moebius Foundation”. This collaboration can be traced back to Tychus Findley meeting Jim Raynor at a bar and giving him new hope.

Jim Raynor , leader of the Raynors Raiders, is the central character of the Wings of Liberty campaign, centered around his fight against the Terran Dominion and his relationship with Kerrigan.

briefing room

Each mission is discussed before it begins in a freely accessible 3D briefing room. Depending on the campaign, you control one of the main characters. The briefing rooms are also different for each campaign or breed. With the Terrans, for example, you control Jim Raynor in the command ship Hyberion. The missions can be freely selected on a 3D map and do not have to be completed in a specific order. Several star systems with dozens of planets are visible on the galaxy map. Each planet has its own story and is presented with a lot of background information. Additional side stories will allow you to learn even more about the world. These are also useful if you want to earn extra money. Of course there are also the usual Blizzard Cinematic Videos in 2.

The canteen

This cruiser also has a canteen where you can talk to Tychus, for example. In these conversations you will learn more about the Starcraft story, the characters or the missions themselves. As is known from role-playing games, you decide for yourself which topic to talk about.

The technical room

There is also a technical room in the Hyberion. Units can be bought at the terminal to be taken into the mission. However, taking units from one mission to the next is not possible. Since the Terrans have massive money problems, technologies have to be bought at great expense. Additional money can be obtained from secondary objectives. A tactical approach is important here, because you decide which units and updates are freely available for the missions. There is also a simulator in the technical room where you can test all the units right away.

The Laboratory

In the Laboratory you can use Zerg and Protoss Research Points to unlock new technologies, buildings and units. A list of all possible researches can be found on ourResearch Page .

Outcasts, lawbreakers and rebels were once sent from Earth to establish the first human colony outside the solar system. Left to their own devices, a tight military organization gave them the adaptability and flexibility they needed to survive in the far reaches of the galaxy. Far away from their homeland, a multitude of more or less independent colonies gradually developed.

The nomadic-looking people owe their assertiveness, among other things, to the ability to their tactical outposts quickly and effectively in the contested area. A special achievement of the Terrans is the ability to land finished buildings from a greater distance in more distant areas.
