Command Center
Command Centers are the nerve centers of all Terran outposts. Originally developed by the Confederacy as mobile resource processing centers for their prospectors, today’s command centers can still move under their own power to the nearest mineable deposit of minerals or vespin. They also have SCV production facilities and serve as a gathering base for resource-mining vehicles. Despite their robust construction and heavy armor, the slow-moving command centers are particularly vulnerable during a change of position.
Recently introduced enhancements include the addition of hangar bays, which allow command centers to carry a small number of SCVs during a repositioning. Newly discovered deposits of minerals or vespine can be exploited even faster and in the event of an attack, the hangars offer the fragile SCVs a safe haven from enemy weapon fire.
The frequent use of command centers in combat zones has led to the development of a number of standardized building upgrades that allow them to be retrofitted to serve a variety of tactical roles. Two expansions in particular are very popular in commander circles: the Observation Station, with whose scanners enemy units can be spotted, and the Planetary Fortress, with its reinforced armor and heavy defensive armament.
This evolved structure can carry up to 5 SCVs while in flight and floating to another location.
Expansions Planetary Fortress
With this expansion, the command center becomes a planetary fortress that can defend itself with cannons, against ground and air units. With this expansion, the command center loses the ability to take off.
Expanding
the satellite center As a satellite center, it allows the terran commander to fall back on orbital satellites. In addition to reconnaissance, these can also stimulate the economy by temporarily making an area visible. You can do this by dropping off a spacecraft that will help the SCVs mine minerals, or by letting additional supply units come down.
TERRANS – THE FEDERAL MARINE CORPS.
PRIDE. STRENGTH. DISCIPLINE
Outcasts, lawbreakers and rebels were once sent from Earth to establish the first human colony outside the solar system. Left to their own devices, a tight military organization gave them the adaptability and flexibility they needed to survive in the far reaches of the galaxy. Far away from their homeland, a multitude of more or less independent colonies gradually developed.
Terran Buildings
The nomadic-looking people owe their assertiveness, among other things, to the ability to build their tactical outposts quickly and effectively in the contested area. A special achievement of the Terrans is the ability to land finished buildings from a greater distance in more distant areas.
