World of Warcraft - Classic

With the release of World of Warcraft: Classic. On November 23, 2004, the most popular MMO of all time was released and right at the beginning, hundreds of thousands of players fought their way through the territories of Azeroth.

Every decent game launch naturally includes a truly legendary trailer, and Blizzard is known for its good cinematics. The intro cinematic of World of Warcraft: Classic is no exception. In World of Warcraft Classic, there are 9 classes in total, but only 8 of them are playable with the respective faction. Shamans are only available in the Horde, and Paladins are exclusive to the Alliance. We show you all nine classes with their respective strengths and weaknesses.

Druid

The Druid is a pretty versatile class in WoW Classic, but he doesn't really shine in any role. He counts as a hybrid and can therefore react to any situation in a versatile way. In addition, he is the only class that even has a resurrection that can be used in combat.

He is a welcome healer and especially popular in PvP as a flag bearer. His different animal forms make him varied and ensure that you can get through the world quickly even without a mount, which makes leveling pleasant.

Hunter

Hunters are the perfect solo class in Classic. Thanks to their pet, they can kill even several enemies at once, where other classes would have to flee or simply die. However, this strength comes with the disadvantage of having less pocket space, since one pocket serves as a quiver for arrows, which always have to be bought again.

The hunter's pet also wants to be fed regularly, otherwise it will perform less or even run away. The damage is solid, but it's usually not enough for first place.

Mage

Mages are very welcome in World of Warcraft Classic, because they combine a lot of useful qualities. They provide bread and water for their teammates or themselves - this saves costs, as otherwise you would have to buy food. Thanks to portals and teleportation, they are also extremely mobile and can quickly cross the two continents.

In dungeons, they can turn opponents into sheep and dish out some serious damage. A final important point is that mages are extremely good at "AoE farming", which makes it easier to collect gold when saving up for an epic mount.
