What’s the problem with Shroud and Watson? Shroud is one of the most prominent players of Apex Legends. The professional gamer has been instrumental in the development of the game and his feedback is responsible for the excellent gunplay, among other things.

On the other hand, he didn’t get along well with the 2nd new legend, Wattson. He found them too defensive and situational. That’s why he always said that one shouldn’t expect too much from her.

In order for everyone to see that Shroud isn’t just babbling stupidly, he wanted to prove in a live stream how lousy Wattson was and why the lovely engineer is no good.

“My fence killed someone!” announced Shroud in surprise. That – and the fact that the Death Zone was probably doing some really fat damage again and had wiped out his team – seemed to have probably caught the pro cold.

By all accounts, the developers have neatly improved both the damage of the zone and the usefulness of the fences. So Wattson is far more useful and versatile than even one of the best players suspected, especially when the zone is so strong and players have to force their way through the fences instead of bypassing or destroying them.
