The roadmap for Warzone – Season 5 has been revealed. The update is called Last Stand and could mean the end of Caldera. These are the highlights.

The “Battle Royale” map that Activision introduced to Warzone with the release of CoD Vanguard never fully convinced many fans. The map’s long-awaited demise could now come in the new update. The roadmap to Warzone – Season 5 promises the big bang. These are the highlights.

Warzone: – Season 5 – The beginning of the end is near
When does – Season 5 start? – Season 5 heralds the end of Warzone before Modern Warfare 2 is released on October 28. According to leaks, the release of Warzone 2 is shortly after that, so the new – Season 5 should be the last – Season of Warzone. It will start on August 24.

The end of Caldera is approaching: In – Season 5 of Warzone, “Peak” in the middle of the map turns into an active volcano. Also, according to Activision, some legendary villains are storming Caldera. So there’s a lot to suggest that – Season 5 of Warzone will end with a bang. At the start of the update, there will definitely be a crash, because the volcano will explode with a “geological event” is initiated. Warzone: – Season 5 – New game mode and event herald the end.
New game mode in Warzone – Season 5: – Season 5 of Warzone brings a new limited game mode to the game. “Opderation: Last Call” launches right at the update’s launch and brings a team play component. The game mode is inspired by Search and Destroy. Two teams jump over Caldera and have to defuse or detonate bombs scattered around the island. Depending on which team wins, a different end-game sequence is shown. Along the way, burning lava chunks fly around players’ ears in Warzone – Season 5’s new game mode.
New event in Warzone – Season 5: Besides the new game mode, there will also be a brand new event in – Season 5 of Warzone. It’s called “Heroes vs. Villains” and it affects the entire community. In Warzone – Season 5, you will choose a side and then have to collect Hero or Villain tokens in all game modes. You’ll find them when you take out enemy players or loot crates.

With the tokens you collect, you’ll get discounts on faction bundles at buy stations. Every time you buy one of these bundles, you’ll get a discount on some other item at buy stations. The team with the most points at the end of the event will receive an exclusive weapon build plan. During the event, all players will also have the chance to unlock some cosmetic items in challenges.
Warzone: – Season 5 Roadmap Revealed – New Weapons Become Experimental
New weapons in Warzone – Season 5: What would a new – Season in Warzone be without new weapons for the arsenal? In – Season 5 there are again new guns, with which players*innen can let off steam in the Battle Royale. What should please many fans: This time, the guns are not from the Second World War, but rather state-of-the-art weapons. This should please fans especially because developers revealed that “Modern Warfare” weapons cannot be buffed in Warzone. These five weapons are coming in Warzone – Season 5:
- EX1 (Launch) – Energy rifle that is good for long distances. This weapon has a battery instead of a magazine and can overheat. In return, you will never have to worry about ammo again. If the battery is overcharged, it must cool down and you are defenseless.
- RA 255 (Launch) – SMG with high rate of fire and good handling. The submachine gun is excellent for close combat, but has a high upward recoil.
- Valois Revolver (Launch Window) – Combination of a pistol and a knife. With this weapon you can land one-hit melee attacks.
- BP50 (Mid– Season ) – Assault rifle for which not much is known yet
- Lienna 57 (Mid– Season ) – Assault rifle for which not much is known yet

– Season 5 of Warzone brings new operators: In – Season 5 of Warzone, some of the most nefarious villains in the Call of Duty universe return as playable operators. At the start of – Season 5, Raul Menendez and Khaled Al-Asad will join the game as Operators (pictured above). Later in – Season 5, Gabriel T. Rorke and He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen will join them (pictured below). Here you can see the four of them:

– Season 5 of Warzone should bring a lot to make players* happy. Although the release of Warzone 2 and the end of Warzone have not yet been confirmed, there are indications that they will be. It would not be surprising if the successor to the Battle Royale will be announced via event in Warzone – Season 5 or – Season 5 Reloaded.
