BIOGRAPHY

REAL NAME
Tina Lin Tsang

DATE OF BIRTH
May 4th (Age: 32)

PLACE OF BIRTH
Vancouver, British Columbia

BACKGROUND

“Two things the human body needs most in a survival situation: water and hope.”

Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Tsang enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) on her eighteenth birthday. She graduated at the top of her class from the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). After completing her bachelor’s degree and officer training, Tsang was stationed at the Joint Rescue Coordination Center Victoria (JRCC Victoria) at CFB Esquimalt. There she served on the primary rescue team whose operations cover British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.

Tsang is praised for her exceptional situational awareness and appreciated for her mission planning and threat handling. Her rescue training in mountaineering, skydiving and diving extends into her free time. Tsang applied the knowledge she gained during her mechanical engineering studies when she helped design and customize the Sterling Mk2 LHT, also known as the ‘Welcome Mat’. Its portable design allows it to be used discreetly in a variety of areas and environments.

PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT

I have to admit that I find Tina Lin “Frost” Tsang’s drive tiresome. Not many adults make me feel like an old man. During our meeting she was rearranging my shelves…they are already looking better. However, Tsang is not nervous. Not at all. Her behavior is more like that of an athlete at her best.

The mission reports highlight Tsang’s focus and persistence. The team trusts their planning, but their over-correctness meets with less approval. However, disagreements do not inhibit team dynamics as Tsang is open to feedback, although I sense that she has a certain dislike for those who may be less patient or prefer shorter approaches.

Tsang’s mission planning is meticulous, and she applies the same diligence to her everyday life. A beautiful example of this is the celebration of her parents’ wedding anniversary, which she recently told me about. She described the traditional Chinese feast with its ten courses in such detail that she could probably cook it from memory.

That being said, finding an off-the-job topic that she was passionate about was a challenge. Music? A matter of mood. Books? Not really. Finally I asked her about her hunting trips. Having grown up in British Columbia, Tsang has respect for Canada’s indigenous cultures. She suggested I visit Haida Gwaii if I came to Canada’s west coast. When I asked about a hunting accident that was mentioned in her medical record in the form of a vague comment, she was reluctant to talk about it. Their bush plane had to make an emergency landing in the so-called Nahanni area. Due to bad weather conditions, a week passed before help arrived. The fact that she did not want to give details and that sentences always began with “I would have” indicates that she is ashamed of something. Instead of probing, I introduced them to Specialist Sanaa “Nomad” El Maktoub. Due to their similar experiences, they became instant friends. Both women feel a deep connection to the great outdoors. It’s not just about being outdoors for them – the wilderness excites them.

Tsang’s precision-oriented personality is a great asset, but I want to encourage her to do more introspection. Her capacity for self-actualization will be crucial as we continue to use her alongside other powerful figures like Specialist Taina “Caveira” Pereira.

Wolfguard is designated as the world’s leading humanitarian military unit and is known for its compassionate and prudent approach. It excels in high-visibility operations that take place in close proximity to civilians and where collateral damage must be avoided at all costs. Most of its members are trained in field medicine and specialized in some type of protection.

Special operations officer Gustave “Doc” Kateb leads this squad. He is on good terms with his subordinates and has an impeccable image with governments and the press. Although he and the rest of the Wolfguard were brought together to use their skills in delicate missions for the good of all, their popularity cannot be overlooked. It will always play a role in their missions.
