Rainbow6 Operator-ALIBI

INDIVIDUAL

Prisma projects holograms that look exactly like an idle alibi. Touching or firing at the holograms will mark you for the next few seconds. If Prisma is used outside, attackers will receive a false warning about an outside defender. As an added element of surprise, Prisma hides the identity of any defender who goes outside. Any damage from gunfire, melee, or explosions will damage Prisma and end the hologram. Don’t get too close to the hologram.

BIOGRAPHY

REAL NAME
Aria DeLuca

DATE OF BIRTH
December 15 (Age: 37)

PLACE OF BIRTH
Tripoli, Libya

BACKGROUND

“Never let anyone look at your cards!”

Aria “Alibi” de Luca was born in Tripoli, Libya, and emigrated with her family when she was three years old. Her father ran a small munitions factory and used his extensive contacts in North Africa to develop export opportunities in that region. Due to her background in the family business and on the firing range, de Luca has an extensive knowledge of Italian firearms and is well-versed in their use. At the age of 18, Aria took part in the European Championships organized by the European Shooting Confederation, winning gold in the 10 meter running target and 10 meter air pistol disciplines. Following the event, a recruiter from the Carabinieri convinced them to join the police force. De Luca’s skills and professionalism as a sniper quickly saw her rise through the ranks and she served for some time in the elite organized crime unit, Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale. Eventually she earned a place in the prestigious Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (GIS) and following a successful operation in Afghanistan she was selected – despite being separated from her unit – to go undercover in organized crime. As an arms dealer, she infiltrated the criminal Vinciguerra clan and spent several years with them before taking them down from the inside. A leaked newspaper article about upcoming operations against the Vinciguerras forced the GIS to speed up their deployment.

PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT

Specialist Aria de Luca (aka Alibi) presents a layered facade that no doubt stems from her years as an undercover investigator, but I suspect this protective mechanism is far more likely rooted in her childhood. She obviously has a deep-seated hatred of mafia families (this is where I came closest to seeing her sophisticated facade crumble) and I think that might affect her ability to act rationally in the face of organized crime. Thanks to my contact in the Carabinieri Chief of Staff’s office, I was able to see the psychological report prepared by Specialist de Luca following her application to GIS. After an in-depth analysis of the report, which includes old criminal records and family hospitalizations, I am convinced that your father was the victim of pizzo (a form of racketeering)… Unless de Luca Senior was unlucky enough to repeat the Breaking fingers, falling down the stairs and breaking his arm twice. Specialist de Luca himself was never injured and demonstrates the same strong physique and mental toughness that all our Operators should have. The psychological wounds run deep, however, and I suspect your father’s conflict with organized crime led the way in our “alibi”. The codename “Alibi” is also quite telling given the circumstances that cut short their undercover operation against the Vinciguerra clan. On paper, Specialist de Luca is a highly decorated GIS heroine with a Gold Civilian Medal for bravery for her action, but if you dig a little deeper, it’s clear that her detractors see in her the leak that nearly derailed the GIS investigation would have. […] Specialist de Luca enjoyed her meteoric rise as an arms dealer within the Vinciguerra family when she gained access to a compound outside of Genoa that played a central role in the Vinciguerras’ human trafficking operation. In the face of dozens of refugees waiting Being sold as slaves and prostitutes by the Vinciguerras seems to have collapsed Specialist de Luca’s well-constructed shell. De Luca was apparently convinced that he had to act immediately. I know for a fact that she tried to persuade her superiors to raid the Genoa compound and that they refused because they were still gathering evidence. I know that the reporter who quoted a confidential informant in his synopsis of the Genoa facility obtained his information in the days following Specialist de Luca’s meeting with her superiors. On record… If Specialist de Luca leaked the information to force the GIS to act and save lives in Genoa, then I’m somewhat relieved. It proves that there are limits Specialist de Luca won’t cross, and that could become important one day. I assume Under-Secretary General Barston used unofficial channels to place Specialist de Luca’s service record on my desk and that he does not support the Rainbow program. Whatever he hopes to achieve with this maneuver, I can state with a near certainty that Specialist de Luca is ignorant of this political agenda. But apparently she plays a role in the plans of Under-Secretary General Barston, which we are not aware of.

If we’re looking to win them over, adding Specialist (Maestro) Martello to Team Rainbow will serve us well – both through his personal credentials and his ability to see behind Specialist De Luca’s facade. They worked together intensively during the Vinciguerra operations. She provided the information and his unit acted on her base. I suspect their relationship could be even closer, but it seems subject to fluctuations that warrant closer examination. Are they close friends? Are they related to each other? Or something else? The time will tell. Luckily Specialist de Luca seems to be fitting in well with the team given the problems the SAS is having – and SEALS operators like to make each other happy. In conclusion, I think Specialist de Luca is a valuable addition to the Rainbow program and that her special abilities will keep teams thinking during asymmetric combat simulations.
