Rainbow Six Extraction is not completely buggy and for that alone it’s celebrated

is surprisingly well received by many players.

Rainbow Six Extraction gets by without any major technical difficulties at launch. The co-op shooter also just feels finished, according to some fans. Both of these things are no longer a given lately – be it because of the coronavirus pandemic or other circumstances that lead us to see more early, unfinished and rushed releases. Rainbow Six Extraction has certainly benefited from the extra months of development time, which is good news for the players.

Sexism issues at Ubisoft: The French developer and publisher has been accused of a toxic corporate culture since July 2020. This includes extensive sexism problems, misogyny and discrimination, which are said to be deeply rooted in the company. Although Ubisoft has already taken action, for example by replacing employees at the management level and openly commenting on the accusations, many employees feel that these measures are not sufficient within the company.

Rainbow Six Extraction has been available to play since yesterday, and it apparently works very well. However, what should be a matter of course is no longer one. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty or the GTA Trilogy show that more and more games are thrown onto the market unfinished and full of bugs. The repair is then done after the release, if at all. Accordingly, many are almost surprised by the technical state of the Ubisoft shooter.

Praise: It sounds pretty absurd, but gamers on Reddit are just happy that they can play Rainbow Six Extraction without any problems. What’s more, the game feels fully developed and not like it was released way too early. Here, it’s apparently not immediately noticeable what doesn’t work or is even missing. It’s just nice to play a game that feels complete and doesn’t seem as rushed as Battlefield 2042, for example (via Reddit).

Redditor bobby-spanks even writes that Rainbow Six Extraction is the multiplayer game in a very long time that didn’t feel rushed to release or just turned out to be crap. He hopes that other developer studios will take a leaf out of this book.

What is Rainbow Six Extraction anyway? Rainbow Six Extraction puts a new spin on the Rainbow Six Siege formula. Instead of competing against each other in tactical PvP matches, you’ll team up in the best PvE style to take down tons of nasty aliens.
